does SVNIT gets filled for civil at round 1 or 2? Then online cutoofs show it to be of round 7. how will I come to know of actual cutoff then

See, how counselling are done-

In first round, all the ones who register are allotted some college on basis of rank. But when asked to report many of are not able to take admission because of like taking drop, getting some other college like BITS, etcc...so their seats remains vacant. In second round the seats of other students are upgraded due to their vacation and choice and for left over seat are alloted to fresh candidates.  Similarly, same thing happens in further subsequent rounds.

So, don't worry in case of cutoff we look for 7th round and not the first round. You will get the civil engineering in surat.
