With 5600 general category rank you seem to have a great chance for admission in NIT Surathkal under the home state quota in branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics IT etc. There aren't much chances for branches like CSE under the home state quota. For admission under the Outside state quota you seem to have a fair chance in the Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical branches etc.
