I'm in 10th. I wish to pursue bio in environment/biotech area. I wish to do engineering /research. I'm planning to do JEE to go to IISER/IISc, + Bio in +2 . I'm confused if JEE's needed for the above areas,as I don't want conventional engineering. Should I do JEE coaching or PCMB in a normal school?

Thank you. But I also want to know, since I'm not interested in civil/computer and other usual engineering, is it even worth giving JEE? I want to do environmental so is PCMB at a normal school better,or coaching and dummy school with bio separately better? I know JEE is useful for IISER/IIsc but if I can do that with self study is it worth giving up my last years of school? I don't want to get into IIT and I want to do unconventional branches of engineering like environmental or biotech.I'm interested in research too. Is JEE needed for those? Please guide me here.
