I do not have any idea about  Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar  but i can say that LPU is a better option. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc.

In case, you don't want to pursue MSc in Mathematics, you'll be awarded with your graduation degree. Eligibility Criteria is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% aggregate, there's relaxation of 5% in case of reserved categories, admission is done through entrance test conducted by the university.
