Is IET -DAVV a good college? In terms of placement of ET?
dear aspirant,
Placement : There are rarely core companies of any branch come to IET (P.S. Wipro, Infosys, TCS are consultancy firm and are not consider as core, but they have CS/IT orientation). And as per my knowledge, I don't know any company related to E&TC that has come for placement. So, most of the people get placed into consultancy firms such TCS, Infosys. And rest opt for either GATE, CAT or GRE.
Higher Study Prepration : There are various good result has come in GATE in past and even a final year senior of mine scored second rank in gate. Rank of gate is nothing to do much with college, it's all depends on coaching and once dedication and commitment towards exam. Though lenient behavior of college towards attendance is helpful.
