Among surat, bhopal, jamshedpur: jamshedpur is the most industrialized one in manufacturing sector. So, you have choose Mechanical in jamshedpur, you can get placement easier than other NITs as more core companies visit jamshedpur. So, I will say to go for NIT Jamshedpur. You can prefer as- NIT Jamshedpur > NIT Surat> NIT Bhopal.

Nit Surat is best for b.tech in mechanical engineering. And nit Bhopal and nit jamshedpur are at same level in placements and atmosphere .
