Will indian institute of engineering science and technology shibpur take admission on the basis of wbjee

IIEST stands for Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology and comes under Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTI's). It has a total faculty strength of 197 while a total student intake of around 3000.

I am sorry to inform you that one cannot take admission at Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur through WBJEE examination. For taking admission at this college, one has to appear for the respective year's JEE Mains examination. So to take admission in IIEST, Shibpur this year, it is compulsory for a candidate to appear in JEE Mains 2019.

The IIEST shibpur takes admission only on basis of JEE Mains score. Earlier it was BESU and accepted WEBJEE for admission. But now it has been handed to MHRD and Govertment Of  india looks after it. They have decided to take admission on basis of jee mains score only. You won't be able to get admission on WBJEE score.

No Wrong Wrong, indian institute of engineering science and technology shibpur does not take admission via wbjee. indian institute of engineering science and technology shibpur takes admission only through JEE Mains cause it is a central govt funded institute.
