University of Delhi’s fee structure for the five-year integrated programme in Journalism is-

Aspiring candidates will have to pay a caution deposit (one time) at the beginning of the first semester, and this will be reimbursed after the completion of the entire course.

Foreign students will have to pay Rs. 6700, in addition to the Course Fee as given above.


Fee for PwD students will be as per the rules of the University of Delhi.

Fifteen students will be given fee concessions based on merit. During the time of admission, the students must pay the entire fee. Students who want to benefit from the fee concession will have to apply for it separately after the admission. The concession can range from 10 per cent to 100 per cent depending on the case.

*The University has the right to revise the fee without giving any prior notice.

BJ MJ Admission Process

The BJ MJ course is a five-year UG-PG integrated course in Journalism that a student can pursue right after completing their 10+2. The course allows the students to learn numerous facets of the media industry and develop the required skills for researching facts, learning how to compile, developing writing skills, learning how to edit, developing proficiency in anchoring and reporting, news production, learning skills needed for presenting information, and much more. Moreover, the course also focuses on the study of modern media.

Aspiring students who wish to take admissions in the BJ MJ integrated course under the University of Delhi have to register through Delhi University’s Common Application Form. Students must be aware that they will have to register online, and no offline application will be entertained. While registering, they will have to choose ‘Delhi School of Journalism’ as their choice. Once the candidates have made the choice, they will have to pay the application fees. Once the payment is made, an admit card will be issued to the candidate for appearing for the entrance exam for the integrated BJ MJ course admissions for the Delhi School of Journalism.


The candidates should follow these following guidelines:

If the aspiring candidates have secured 50 percent aggregate in 10+2 in any stream, they will be considered eligible for applying for the Journalism test.

The aspiring candidates will clear an entrance test to get admitted to the BJ MJ course. The University of Delhi will conduct this entrance test.

Separate entrance tests will be conducted for students from English Medium and Hindi Medium.

The entrance test is formulated in a way to assess and evaluate the aspiring candidate’s proficiency and knowledge in general knowledge, current affairs, comprehension skills and analytical skills.

The entrance exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) section of 100 questions of 400 marks, along with negative marking (one mark) for every wrong answer.

The admission of selected candidates will be done entirely based on the National Level Journalism Entrance Test conducted by the University of Delhi.

Reservations and any other such exclusions applicable will according to the rules of the University of Delhi.

BJ MJ Cut Off
