After verification and before option entry what is this registration?

Hope you are doing well. K-CET option entry is completely different from JoSAA seat locking system, where there is no need to register once again. In K-CET, after document verification, you need to register for the option entry by creating a new user ID and password and also you need to submit the secret key. This registration is to verify whether you have actually completed the document verification or not. In future, whenever you login to the option entry portal, you need to enter even the secret key as login credentials. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.
