I cannot be present for BITSAT counselling. Who can attend on my behalf?

The filled application form has to be sent through post and the seat allotment is done online through a computerized procedure so the candidates do not have to be physically present for the counselling session. However while reporting at the allotted institute for confirmation of admission, candidates have to report in person failing which they will forfeit their seat.

If by chance you are not able to attend the BITSAT counselling for admission into BITS, then you can send the filled application form to the authorities by post. The allotment of seat  is done through an online procedure and physical presence of student is not required in this case. But you are expected to be present at the time of reporting for confirming the admission.
