I got all India rank of 380550 in neet 2020.Can I get seat for mbbs in mop up round in 85 percent statequota in karnataka under general catagory under govt quota in private medical colleges? or whether I should apply under all india quota?
For ST candidates in 2024, some ST seats closed around 166,849 AIR. Your rank of 380,550 is well beyond this range—too low for AIQ government seats, even in mop-up.
Karnataka State quota (85%) has slightly higher cutoffs: ST category closed around 159,627 AIR in 2024. (https://mbbscouncil.com/listing/expected-karnataka-neet-cut-off-for-all-india-quota-state-quota/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) Again, with 380,550 AIR, you're well past the closing rank.
If you still aim for MBBS with this rank you ca consider private medical colleges, but it comes with considerable fees.
Hello,
Your rank is pretty high as a general category. And we know mop up round occur if any seats are left vacant after the second round. In Karnataka 1st counselling started from November 1st week. Then 2nd and mop up round, its very lengthy process.
I think you will try for another colleges in different state also near you.
