I have been allotted seat in the 2nd round, chose the Option-2 while retaining the allotted seat. I'm supposed to pay the fee by 24th July.

Hello ramakrishan,

You should definetly report the instituition before the date otherwise your seat won't be safe if you don't report at the institution then it will be considered as you are leaving that seat.

And you will be ending up getting no seat sometimes,

However, the Kea website mentions for those who have opted for second choice, they will only be provided with Bank acknowledgement and not the admission card. The seat allotted gets blocked and can be retained if there is no allotment in the 2nd extended round which is to be alloted in 2nd week of August (just before commencement of the course)
