If we take admission to a reputed ipu college then we migrate to dtu if we clear mains in 1st year?

But after first year you should not have to only quality mains but to score enough to get into DTU

Does it mean that we have to give jee mains again and then to score enough marks so as to get into DTU...
If we score cgpa above 8 in first year of engineering , can we get admission in dtu thorugh migration process in second year
