Is it compulsory to score in english?

MANY OTHER EXAMS MOSTLY FOCUS ON PCM ALONE , BUT THATS NOT THE CASE IN BITSAT.

IN BITSAT EXAM YOU HAVE TO SCORE WELL IN ENGLISH AND LOGICAL REASONING TO MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR THE EXAM.

AS PER THE EXAM PATTERN YOU HAVE 15 QUESTIONS FROM ENGLISH PROFICIENCY WHICH ARE 3 MARKS EACH (IF CORRECT), WHICH CAN MAKE A GREAT DIFFERENCE IN YOUR SCORE IF YOU ANSWER THEM CORRECTLY.

I SUGGEST YOU NOT TO TAKE IT LIGHTLY AND MAKE SURE YOU DEDICATE ENOUGH TIME PREPARING FOR IT.

No, There isnt any subject individual cutoffs in BitSat exam . Only Branch Cutoffs are there.

But when it comes to admission process , they consider the person with higher maths marks out of the two people who scored the same marks in BitSat.

The preference order goes like :
Maths
Physics
Chem
12th Board Marks ( Yes they are also considered but only if your PCM marks in BitSat is same as that of the other person)
