I see you are asking about councelling procedure of Jee. Regarding amount of money , the seat accepteance fee is RS 45000 for all category except SC/ST/SC-Pwd/ST-Pwd/GEN-Pwd/OBC-NCL-Pwd. For them the seat acceptance fee is RS 20000.

The procedure is pretty much simple , nothing to worry about.

First you need to do online registration using your jee mains roll no. and password . Then you need to fill the choices of colleges and branch based on your preferences ans lock it.The allotment of seat will be on the basis of preferences.Based on your rank , seat availability and choice preferences you wiil be given seats in particular college. Before the actual allotement of seat , mock seat allotment will be carried out.

Before you pay seat acceptance fees confirm your seat you need to understand a few option's meaning

FREEZE - Candidates who are happy with the seat allotted and do not wish to take part in further councelling process will chose it.

FLOAT - Candidates who want to keep the allotted seat but wish to upgrade in further rounds will chose it.

Slide - Candidates who want to keep the alloted seat in same institution but wish to upgrade the coursee will chose it.

Withdraw - Candidates who want to withdraw the admission can withdraw the seat by reporting to the institution before the last date of councelling.

The fee can be paid through SBI Net Banking/e-Challan. Next you need to report to the nearest institution in given time frame for document verification to complete your councelling.

Final reporting will be done on the institution allotted for admission and there you need to pay the balanced fee.
