The eligiblity criteria for a student to apply for KEAM 2019 are:-
Candidates applying for KEAM 2019 must check the eligibility criteria of the exam. KEAM 2019 eligibility criteria are the parameters prescribed by the authorities to be fulfilled by candidates. If candidates do not fufil KEAM eligibility criteria 2019 and apply for the exam, there are chances that their application will be rejected. The eligibility criteria of KEAM 2019 includes nativity, academic eligibility and age etc.
Nationality: Only Indian citizens will be eligible to apply for the exam. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will also be considered eligible.
Domicile: Candidates will be categorised as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). In order to prove that candidate is an Indian citizen of Kerala origin, he or she has to submit certain documents.
Age: Candidates must be 17 years old by December 31, 2019. However, there is no upper age limit for KEAM 2019.
Academic Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary Examination of Kerala or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have secured 50% marks in Mathematics separately and an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together
