What is more beneficial- Msc in any good branch of physics from iits or iisers or iisc Bangalore, etc. 2. integrated msc+PhD from these
Dear Birbal Dev,
It's good to have a query from Science aspirants like you.
Coming to your query, the benefits of pursuing a programme also depends on the reason for their choices.
If if you can tell me why do you wish to go for M.Sc in Physics or an integrated M.Sc PhD, I can help in clarifying your doubt.
Hope to listen from you soon.
Thank you.

Actually sir I wanted to go for engineering (during my class 12 days, unaware of the Scopes of basic sciences) unfortunately I couldn't qualify the entrance examinations and I landed on undergraduate degree program. I chose physics because physics was the the subjects that fasicinated me in my high school days and off course in my higher secondary days. After the degree classes started my professors were good enough to make me aware of the vast scope of physical sciences and the various fields where I can pursue my career as a physicist.
After completing my bachelors I will continue to pursue my Master's in physics. So I had asked this question because I found out that many premier institutions offer both msc and integrated msc+PhD in physics. So if were to be lucky enough to clear the JAM examination then which respect of the two degree option should I opt for ??
