If you are taking admission in college, then you are making a big mistake. Because the infrastructure of the college is very bad, hostel facilities are very bad.Wi-Fi or smartboad facilities are not available anywhere, food is not available anywhere, the size of the class rooms is very small.
I have done BTech from this college and the teachers of the college are not good at all, there are two-three teachers who are very helpful, the rest of the teachers are not good. The program of this college is never updated with the recent developments and no classes are conducted to give us theses for jobs.
There is no mention of placement in this college. I do not get any kind of placement. I have never seen such a company since I was studying in this college. In terms of average salary, I don't get much and even the highest salary, I don't get much. College teachers are not at all supportive, only one or two teachers are good.
Total fees of BTech here is ₹1 lakh, you do not get any kind of facilities, teachers do not teach at all, whatever you want, there is no facility here at all.It is useless to put your money here, it is better if you look for a good college in the same range.
Campus is also not good very much and does not provide any kind of facilities, activities etc. are not conducted, The students from the college campus are not happy at all and the teachers are not supportive I am saying again and again that this.
If it is your compulsion to take admission here then only you should take admission here because the institute itself is not good at all.
The college has a beautiful campus with one of the best infrastructures as it is one among the oldest engineering colleges of India. Being a national level institute, it has alot of facilities like bigger playing grounds, big smart classrooms, Library etc. Hostels were also good with proper hygienic food. Also the new bigger campus is under construction & expected to be operational by 2024.
Academics here is top notch with diverse course outline & very flexible industry specific subjects. Students do get here ample opportunity to purse their career in their desired domain & having an experienced & highly capable facilities the are reason behind it.
Placements of this college is one of best among all the NITs. All the streams get placement here but the best jobs or highly paid jobs are in CSE & IT domain. The college is improving their figures in placements each year & hopefully in coming years it'll do better.
The fees was around 4 lakhs & average salaries are also good. Having a BTech degree from an NIT brand is huge. So, 100% value for money.
Campus life is very good as it was nearby the Ganges. So, the people can roam & students get a very good ambience to study.
The infrastructure of the college is good. The famous NIT Ganga Ghat inside the campus enhances the beauty of the college. The classrooms have AC and projectors, the labs have all the facilities and required equipments, the library has thousands of books for different courses, the hostel and mess facility are also there.
I studied B. Tech in computer science and Engineering. Talking about the teaching quality, the college faculty is one of the best and well-qualified, highly experienced . The curriculum is very good and has all the required courses.
The placement of the college is really good and improving day by day. It has 100% placement record and the highest package includes 1.08 crore of one of our senior from previous batch in facebook and another of 30 lpa in Google.
My College National Institute of Technology, Patna has good Infrastructure providing all facilities and equipments to the students. Facilities includes Computer Center, IT Labs, Central Library,Banking, Medical Facilities, etc. Nit patna also provides facility of hostel for both UG and PG students (including Boys and Girls).
I am a Computer Science and Technology department student in Nit patna. I see here the Academics is very good for learning. Course curriculum is also very good in all aspects for students. Carriculum is updated as new guidelines of NEP(National education policy). Here, we provided both theoretical as well as practical knowledge.
Nit Patna's placements is going very well as year passing. This year the highest package is stood at INR 52 LPA and average is INR 14 LPA from top recuiters Google, Bharat Electronics, ONGC, etc. Computer Science and Engineering branch has highest placement percentage of 100% participated student placed.
yaa I can say to go take Nit Patna is value of money. for my course Btech it is almost INR 1.8 LPA per year. But here in Nit patna we get scholarship based on annual income of parents of Student. I feel I am getting my money's worth very well as I wanted.
My college is located in the capital of Bihar Patna besides of Ganga river having peaceful place. Size of Campus is not much bigger but good enough. Here students are very chill and also helpful for each other. we have a playground in which we play cricket, football, badminton, etc. We can go to Nit Ghat in the evening where we can feel holy Ganga river wives.
Overall National institute of technology patna is a good college having all facilities and also various places to enjoy college life. placements is also good enough. so, it is value of money if we takes admission in Nit Patna.
Yes, our college has all the basic necessities for the students. The classrooms of nano building and incubation centre are fully equipped with air conditioning and smart boards. You can access wifi in almost every corner of the campus. Talking about the food, it is average.
Being a student of Computer Science and Engineering I experienced that the professors are hardworking, calm and gives a lot of assignments. Academic curriculum is a little bit updated according to the present demand.
Placement record of our college is improving every year.Last year the highest package from our college was of 1.8 CPA. Many big companies visited us and hired many students. The average package this year is 14 LPA.
The campus area of our college is nearly 40-50 acres. Although the campus is small but every corner is utilised perfectly. You'll find greenary all around. The ground is not so big, we can play either football or cricket at a time.
The college infrastructure is great . It has almost all the necessary facilities such as air conditioned library with working wifi. Classroom desks are of great quality and well maintained and the campus is very clean . The food is also good.
I am too much fascinated about engineering and technology. It was my childhood dream to become a well professional engineering and too much fascinated about learning new technology and growth.Placements are so good. Average package offered by the college is very nice .Almost 80% of Placements are provided , that is a good point and the packages offered are also good. Nice placement and good skills.
The college provides high and good amount of packages from varying to tech as well as core branches. The placement stats are growing year by year.Various companies visits our college and provide high amount of packages.
Outer buildings of our college is quite older since it got the nit tag in 2004 and the main building was built around 1900 . Campus is short but the thing is inside of the campus everything is very new .
Faculties are good everytime you got the opportunity to learn something new. This is really cool and gives us the opportunity to uskill and focus on our career as well as the things that we like, if u are dedicated and not influenced by the people around here then this is the place that you ll like .
Placements stats are quite good, everyone around here gets some offer by companies. But big companies like apple , Microsoft, google don't come to the campus . Yes they do help in offcampus placements.
It's not that value for money than others but if we compare it with other cllgs but far better than a private college . Mess food is quite ok and it has a good library, good facilities as well as good .
Good campus life , u ll come after 3 years of tabsaya . Here make friends and yes good friends. Since this is nit patna so it has some elements with down moral so u do need to protect yourself but it ll make you strong overall cllg have fests , events n all.
See aim for the best . Nit patna should not be your choice. Aim for better colleges . College is not made by faculty or academics it's the people who are here . Study well during JEE for a good 4 year in a good college
I am a 2nd year student studying at Nit patna . If i talk about the college infrastructure, it is not bad neither it's so good with an area of around 45-50 acre, it's feels kind of but populated inside the main campus ..but if i talk about the facilities then yeah you will get everything that is present in any other college ...wether it's boys and girls gym ,library , Nescafe shops , stationary, public concourse and more . In some classroom only , we have the functional smart boards.
I am studying Computer science and engineering from Nitp . The quality of teaching here is not soo good , the teachers here are sure exceptional but students have to study by their own in order to grasp the concept. Most of the times students are not able to understand ehat is going on in the class. Going to class result in nothing (just saying through experience) . Curriculum is updated for sure and involves everything, but student have to manage alot by himself in order to learn skills
Placements are the one thing due to which many people take admission here , In tems of placements , I can say Nitp is doing soo well , in the last 5 years , nitp changed its nirf ranking from 300+ to under 70 (62 in 2022) , many new companies are coming here and placements medians is also around 9-10 lpa for cse guys ....this year two three people bagged more than 1 crore package here and 70-80 got internships in the Amazon and many other big MNC's ...so in terms of placements NitP is doing well
If i had to speak about the value of money than i think it's too much not because its expensive but because we do not get to learn the skills and things our future needs ..we just got crambled by the large neverending assignment and 75 percent attendence, if a student has to develop the skills , he has to give time to himself other than attending College lectures
I think Campus life is not meant by the campus but by the friends and students around you... In Nitp the environment is a bit Competitive but the people here are soo good for sure ..wether it's your own classmates or seniors they all are very much supportive and that's the best thing a student want from its campus life . In terms of Location of NITP ,i think it is the best location any college can ever get, It is situated just in the centre of patna with NIT GHAT just situated beside it .
I explain everything above i can just say it's a very wholesome experience to do engineering from this college , and moreover if you are surrounded with better people you will be the one getting better . Just a tip for juniors - (always surround yourself with good company people's)
The college has a pretty basic infrastructure. It does have all the basic facilities and equipments as far as the academics are concerned. But for the cocurricular activities such as sports the college has a single playground which sometimes falls short to fulfill the needs of all kinds of sports. It has well maintained library and laboratories. The hostels are also well maintained. But there is one issue that there is not enough availability of rooms for girl students.
I study Computer Science and Engineering here. The teachers are really concerned for their subjects and give their best to teach the students but the syllabus does the same as in any other college. Whatever you do college studied solely cannot make you ready for your placements.
The placements at NIT Patna has seen an exponential growth in the last two years and the students are doing pretty good. A number of students are bagging placement offers from companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Paytm, Goldman Sachs, Samsung and many more.
As far as the placement is considered one can say that the college provides value for money. On an average the tution fee for a year is about 1,20,000. But when seen for the infrastructure specially for the co-curricular activities it fails to satisfy the needs of the students.
Haven't been to college yet since I am 2020 batch student.
Overall it is pretty good college to give a hike to your career.
Hostel for first-year students are not as good but are still satisfying but from second year there is quite good facilities of hostel with additional facilities like high-speed internet connection and purified water garden and many more. The mess is good. The infrastructure of the college is not encouraging and labs, classroom, sports and medical facilities are provided.
I am currently studying the MS integrated course in mathematics the quality of teaching its outstanding the curriculum is updated every semester and includes all those fields which will develop the personality of the student and will make them job ready.
The placement rate of our course was around 67%. The average salary package offered was 5.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 7.7 LPA for the batch of 2015-2020. TCIS and Google are the top recruiters here. About 70% of the students got internships from our college in reputed institutions and companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.

For the future of India, NIT Jamshedpur's Materials and Metallurgical Engineering program is likely a better choice than NIT Patna's Civil Engineering program, especially considering India's growing manufacturing and materials science sectors. NIT Jamshedpur offers a strong program with strong industry ties, particularly with Tata Steel, and a history of
