Gate has also reservation but if you take cs/ec then you miss that chance so I will suggest you take me and ce

if you don't want your comfort zone (reservation) then do b.tech with ME/ CE otherwise do CS and EC, because after doing b tech don't have much option in government sector(CS and EC )

You have less chances based on your marks.
You can get good private college in states like: Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Most of the states have reservation for other state students in private colleges based on JEE Main score/rank. You need to apply separately for them.
