The LPU Economics programs are designed and delivered with an objective of overall development of students. The programs include:

• Dissertations and Field Surveys: Students have opportunity to do class assignments or dissertations by applying various statistical techniques. Students will learn the fundamentals of game theory starting with basic terms such as strategies, payoffs, and information, and then will progress from the analysis of simple to more complex games.

• HEALTH ECONOMICS

  Introduces students to the application of economic tools to the interaction among the many stakeholders in the health care system and the public health system. Course will also provide insight about Indian health system.

• INDIAN BANKING FRAMEWORK AND SYSTEM

  This course aims to introduce Indian banking framework and system and illuminate our students to know the working of banking system in one of the largest growing economy.

• LABOUR ECONOMICS

  Introduces wage and employment determination, turnover, search, immigration, unemployment, equalizing differences, and institutions in the labor market.

• LAW AND ECONOMICS

  This course will introduce students to the "law and economics" way of thinking about the legal system. Course will illuminate students to use the principles of economics to achieve legal decisions.
