I am assuming you are from general category. Based on your overall academic profile, you will need to score atleast 99.4 percentile in CAT to get a call for the next round of top 3 IIMs and FMS.

It depends on your capability & confidence. If you can manage the time with your job for CAT preparation then it is a good decision. And if You are targeting for new IIMs, FMS, XLRI colleges then you need to score 95 + in CAT exam so you need to work for its preparation.
