Scholarship Categories:

Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:

1. Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification : (for example 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes). The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of qualification previous to Eligibility qualification. For example, someone seeking admission in B.Tech can seek scholarship on the basis of 10+2 (Eligibility Qualification) or 10th (Qualification previous to 10+2). Augmenting support to deserving candidates, LPU has further expanded the scholarship bracket to even facilitate candidates scoring a minimum of 70% marks during the COVID-19 pandemic national lockdown period.

2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.)

3. LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)

4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards

5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions

   • For Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable)
   • Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependants
   • Toppers of Education Board
   • Scholarship for Orphan Applicants
   • Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability

Note: Scholarship brackets and/or Phases mentioned below are not applicable for special scholarship and /or fee concession.

Whatever Scholarship is applicable will be for the complete duration of the programme.

For Continuation of Scholarship on the basis of performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service, Bravery etc. in the subsequent years, student must fulfill the attendance conditions and performance in respective activities.

Being a part of Lovely professional university, i am aware about the facts that the fees does not increase every year. For instance if you have enrolled yourself in B.Tech , the fees will remain same for every semester.

Also, the scholarship amount will be reduced for your every semesters fee.

My brother is already studing at LPU for B.Tech (CSE), He is in 3rd year and we are paying the same fees till now. Regarding the fee structure at LPU, I must really appreciate LPU regarding their transparency and no hidden charges. Tution fees at LPU is paid semester wise, which is fixed at the time of admission. If you are availing any scholarship on tution fees, it will be fixed throughout the complete course. ( Though there are few points to be kept in mind such as no in disciplinary case, etc.) If everything is going smoothly, Yes your tution fees is fixed throughout the course.

And now regarding the hostel fees, There might be slight variation in hostel, mess and laundry charges, as per the inflation ,but that won't be much.

LPU is offering more than 200 programmes ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Its your choice to opt for a programme in which you want to take admission. The fee structure is different for all the programmes, so you need to specify the programme for which you want to know the fee details.

The fee is applicable on semester basis and it depends on the marks scored by the student or on the basis of category cut-off in LPUNEST (as decided by the university). Students can avail scholarship on the basis of marks in qualifying examination, LPUNEST, National level entrance test, Sports, Co-curricular, Cultural activities, Social Service and Bravery awards, etc.

If the student avails scholarship, then it continues for the whole duration of the programme and remains same, subject to there is no indisciplinary case against him or any other specific reasons laid down by the university.
