Nit Calicut do have facilities like library, laboratories and sport facilities that can be accessible for the students by the id cards . There are different hostels messes that offers different menu so the students can pick the one ones they preferred.
I am studying in department of architecture and the faculty interaction in this course will be very important and high . The curriculum here gets updated by every batch to match the outer worlds for better opportunities.
Coming to the placements for architecture department in nit Calicut are lesser compared to other departments here . I wish there are more opportunities to showcase the student talents to the world by the relationship.
It’s a good experience and worth the time.
1.my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment 2.We have wifi facilities laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels and well maintained 3. Living spaces are clean and hygienic
Our academics are good we have great and knowledgeable faculties they are servings as alot and we are getting good knowledge from this college and our college has a good name in national wide i am feeling great
Our students getting very good placements and packages with their skills and knowledge. And they are feeling proud their self by getting those placements and they are know leading a very good life and serving as alumni
I recommended this college for middle class and rich persons only
The National Institute of technology calicut has good infrastructure and experienced faculty and better facilities like wifi inside the campus and ad well as hostels . the spaces are well maintained and hygienic.
academics in nitc are good and will be getting updated on yearly basis to match the skills of the outer world which I think very useful for the students to get better opportunities and also exposure to the outer world.
coming to the placements in nit calicut ,for the department of architecture has lesser opportunities to the students comparative to the other departments. I wish there should be better opportunities to showcase their skills to the outer world.
overall u will be learning and enjoying many things in the campus life.
the institute is well managed in terms of infrastructure with necessary equipment and facilities. the classrooms, especially for the architecture department have projector facilities, drafting tables, storage facilities etc. the institute also provides hostels. There are separate hostels for the male and female students with mess provided near these. The cleanliness and hygiene is good in hostel areas for ladies. not sure about the boys hostels.
I am studying Architecture here cause of its blend with the tech field and the art field. The faculties are supportive despite how challenging this field is. the curriculum gets updated every 5 years. the campus life and academics makes you ready for the challenges the professional realm offers.
the placements for architecture is not very pleasing. there are rarely any placement opportunities and even then the students wouldn't prefer these. But the placements for B.tech is very good with high salary packages and opportunities.
for architecture, the course is overpriced. even so the student would be spending even more money throughout for the assignments and projects.
the campus life is fun with canteens, basketball courts, football fields, swimming pool etc. the sports and club activity here
Good infrastructure, each branch have there own building, hostels are bit far from campus students have to walk to much, sports facilities are provided. Teachers quaters are near the hostel. Overall good infrastructure.
Good academics, syllabus pattern is good, faculties are helpful, lots of assignments, lab are there in college. Good library facility. In library you can get all types of books. Overall good academics.
Placement cell is actively working in college. Good companies visit the campus. Lots of students get placed with good salaries. Companies like mahindra, L&T, oracle visit the campus, female quota is provided.
College gives good facilities. No extra money is taken.
Campus life is soo good. Here peoples from other states and countries comes to study, we get to meet lots of people and all are friendly in nature.
It has moderate infrastructure. Faculty is fine but coming to equipment not all are the working. Some of them are very old. So need to be change and class rooms and are fine but should be more air conditioned.
Academics are good enough. But the examination process is very bullshit as if u fail u will have only one re-exam chance and if u fail again then u have to attend the class with juniors and the current subject will be back
As, an architecture student we generally have less placements but here as the nit value still it is worse as compared to other private universities and Institutes. So better architecture life is expected in private institutions
I think fee is fine except general category
Not bad but full of fights and hectic academic schedule
Recommend to not join by seeing nit tag
No, my collage doesn't provide much facilities like wifi is very bad in both hostel and campus, the projector doesn't work properly, many time people in hostel have to suffer from water shortage and all.
When it comes to academic it is good as it's one of the best college when it comes to Architecture and Planning. We have field tours every semester and national and international competition also which helps a lot.
There are no placement for architecture students but have a better opportunity for b.tech students. But many companies come to the campus for the placements and all are renowned companies which is the only good thing.
No, I do not think it is worth of money.
It's fun during college festivals.
Poorly maintained buildings many colleges suffer from poor infrastructure a college with inadequate infrastructure can negatively affect not only academics but also emotional and physical well being of students
The academic programs are globally recognised and college provides opportunities for internships and collaborations with international institutions and companies . Students are provided with numerous opportunities
Poor placements in colleges severely impacts students career prospects and highlights their need for better preparation stronger industry ties weak placement can make it difficult for students to succeed
Affordable tution fees compared to other institutions relatablly reliant making it a valuable option for many students offers balanced experience that doesn’t completely surpass or fall short of expectations
The campus life is very interesting social environment for the student and their family members in this community of people that have a strong connection with their communities in their communities of origin

You can secure a job quickly after graduating from Nit Calicut with a B.Arch, but the placement opportunities for the architecture course can vary. The architectural industry is growing, and it is creating demand for graduates in firms and government sectors. However, finding jobs depends on the skills, portfolio, and the firm's recruitment style.
