I studing mechanical engineering in this college because I want to go in manufacturing sector. And one of the special reason is my jee mains rank . But any way , here academic is good.some new curriculum were added in previous few years .
College is focussed on manufacturing sector and is the only college in India focussed on foundry and forge.curriculum is moderate because of affiliation of JUT Ranchi till now but recently it got deemed University status.
Academics here interms of syllabus are ok but college management is really rigid and won't prepare essential things like academic calendar and exams like mid semester and ends semester haven't have prior declaration so on.

Average Package offered is 4.50lakhs. you may have heard about the girl named Jaya Gupta, final year student of B.tech Metallurgical Engineering from nifft ranchi who has become national topper in metallurgy in gate exam.
