Bitsat website says exam from 16 to 26 may 2018. Is there any possibility of extending the dates afterwards or should I book my slot....pl.

No, it's not going to change now it will remain same, slot booking has already started now you should book your slot.

These things are fixed by the Authorities from BITS and there is nothing you can do about it. So you should book your slot in the available dates.
If there is any kind of extension later(very unlikely) you will be notified by the authorities.
