NIT Rourkela is known for its great infrastructure. It is not only equipped wit well maintained class rooms, libraries and laboratories but also for its large green campus area with parks , swimming pulls and sports areas well kept by College Authorities to maintain a hygienic environment for students to study .As far as hostel and canteens are concerned , they are cleaned regularly and Canteen authorities take special care to maintain the hygiene of the food served.

Currently i am pursuing B.Tech in Metallurgical department. As Rourkela is the steel hub of India , metallurgy department here is the reputed and the oldest one . I am also very passionate to study various properties of metals and , that's why, i chose it .Apart from metallurgy there are various departments like Comp. Science, Elect. & Comm. , Electricalm Mechanical, Civil, Mining, Ceramic, Industrial Designing, Food processing, etc. professors here are very cooperative and well-educated.

NIT Rourkela has witnessed excellent placement records IN recent years. 95% of students from core branches like Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communications , Mechanical eneering departments are got placed in reputed companies which is itself a record among all NITs and IITs all over India.the highest CTC was about 42 LPA from CSE department with an average CTC of 9.03 LPA.Average CTC is very much varied from higher CTC because the college provide diversity of branches.

As far as ROI (Return Of Investment) concerned, in the name of fees , we pay about 1.24 Lac (it might not be applicable for you beacause fees you have to deposit may depends on many factors like catagory, family income, etc) which includes all the academic and other facilities(hostel, mess, medical fees, etc) at NIT Rourkela . As per the expenses of a middle class family (with annual income above 8 Lacs) , it might not be a great amount but when it comes to value it definitely worths.

Campus life is the most crucial part of the college. Having such a huge and green campus makes the college life blissful .Apart from these there are too much fun is going on in the campus in the name of fests, parties, workshops, clubs, and many more extra curricular activities in each field. Hence, it can be concluded that life is litterally lit here.

I feel it is the best college, anyone can dream of.

Yes my college is having a great and all the facilities that are important for the development of all the skills that a student should have it is having different wings for all the course department and golden Jubilee building. My facilities are great they separately take the class if you have a problem in your subjects . In the campus we have a large swimming pool and play ground it is having green environment in the campus the surrounding is clean and Hygienic the campus is well maintained.

I am pursuing my btech in ceramic engineering and mtech in industrial ceramic. As per my experience all the faculty is very polite and decent and well experienced in there subject and good qualifications the college develops all the students for there future and is having good placement in every course.

Almost all the students get good placement through the college and in good company and 90 % of students get placed the highest salary package offered is tending to 50 lakhs it is for cs branch average salary offered is 10 to 20 lakhs in the placement the college is having separate placement community which informs you all the things.

My fees is 60 thousand per semester. And I am getting its worth I think.

There are many activities that taking place organised by college and a SAC department that are interesting and almost all take part in it. The teacher students and staff is very kind and helping . The college is safe for students and handle emergency.

Our collage have all necessary infrastructure like sufficient number of classrooms and hostels. There is also large building of library. All the facilities like are available like physics laboratory , chemistry laboratory , Workshop . There also a student activity center where students participate in various clubs and activities . All the things are clean and well maintained .There are also large sized fields for many sports like cricket, football, vollyball,basketball etc.

I am studying in mining engineering department. The teachers are also good . Teachers share the PDFs of class and also very much interactive in the class . We can ask doubts any time. The syllabus is also good which includes all the recent developments. Teachers also provide regular assignments and test for overall development of a student.

The placement of my collage is excellent with an average package around 7-8 lacs . Many good companies come and recruit many number of students. More than 90% of the students are placed last year. The highest package was 42 lacs last year from CS department. There are also faculties to help during time of placements .

It costs me around 2 lacs per annum. I think it's value for money because along with academy the institute provides many non academic area for enjoyment of students . The campus is also good and well maintained covering an area of 650acres .

Campus Life is very enjoyable. Every facility are available . Students can engage in sports activities clubs activities whatever they like. Staffs are always there to take care of students. It's location is also perfect near to the market. There is also medical facilities available .

The college is very good and perfect for engineering.

NIT Rourkela has best infrastructure and educational buildings as compared to other NITs in india.we have the tallest educational building named "Golden jubilee building" in india.There are more than 10 hostels which can accomodate more than 5000 students.I'm Very proud to be a part of this institution but the hostel facilities are need to be improved for better comfortable.

Academics section is brilliant because of better teaching quality and teacher's have great knowledge and all staffs and faculty are well qualified they clear our doubts and possible the teaching in this pandemic through online classes.They are very friendly and conciouss about every students in the institution for their better educational development and future.

More than 150 companies visit our institution.The quality of placement is quite good.The highest CTC being around 42lpa and lowest being 2.5lpa.The software companies like amzon recruit our instution students.

NIT Rourkela has the 2nd largest infrastructure in the country and we are quite satisfied with the fee structure of the institution which we pay for it.we never have feelings that the institution charges more or expensive.But it is not value for money after covid conditions.

Students of our intitution actively pariticipate in every extra-curricular activities.There are about more than 70 clubs are registered under the student activity centre.Hostel provides a very fast wifi internet connection all over the campus and 24×7 medical facilities including ambulance in case of emergency.

NIT Rourkela ranked 16th place in engineering according to NIRF RANKING 2020.I' m very proud to be a part of this institution.

NIT Rourkela is best known for its vibrant club culture and dynamic infrastructure. There are lots of opportunities and facilities in the infrastructure of the institute. There is a good library with central air conditioner, and all types books are available with also a central digital library available. There are lots of facilities for the sports including one cricket stadium, hockey stadium and badminton court. The hostel facilities are also good including average food and night canteens.

See the professors here are very interacting and qualified. They teach the best way they can. I never thought that the professors of college will be so interesting. See as the prestige of our institute is very much so our curriculum is also tough. They also give projects to the meritorious students which is very valuable for intern and jobs.

See the quality of placements here is above average. Because there are 23 departments across this NIT including all types of courses so the placement scenario is also dynamic. About 80% of the students in our branch gets placed and many of them also get placed in software profiles and analytical profiles.

See the actual fee of NIT Rourkela is 99,000 per semester including all kinds of fees. As this is a government college so the facilities and scholarship is also available in various ways. The return which students get after this investment is totally justified. Because of the placements, projects, exposure you get from here is unmatchable.

Campus life at NIT Rourkela is best among all NITs according to me. Because of its campus span in such a big area, it is like a world inside having all facilities including shopping centres, Restaurants and many more. Also the number of clubs of all the domains established here is very significant and very interesting. You will surely miss the campus life if you are outside it.

I think if your JEE rank is enough to get NIT Rourkela you should go for it. If you are getting circuital branches here then it is icing on the cake kind of thing because of the placements opportunities they get. I think getting into the Top 3 NITs of India is always a matter of proud and a win win situation.

Yes the college has all the necessary and excellent infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sport centers and hostels have all types of facilities such as WiFi, smart boards, generators. And all used and well maintained. Yes all living spaces clean and the food hygenic.

I am studying in Mind Engineering but I want change my branch as per my personal interest. But the quality of teaching in this branch excellent. Yes I think my curriculum is updated. Yes this makes me job-ready.

The of quality of placements is excellent.99% of students were placed. 2.5 crores was the highest salary package for computer science. The average salary package was 16 lakhs. Yes the placement process was easy and pleasant. My college is very much Supportive.

My course cost around 1,20,000 per year. Yes I feel that I am getting my money's worth because of excellent way of teaching and facilities by my college. And it had also includes other clubs for improving myself in other social works .

It has an area about 1200 acres. It has all type of facilities. Student can engage in their own hobbies like all types of game are available. The other students, teachers and support staffs are excellent. It's location is good . Yes it is safe and it can handle emergencies.

NIT Rourkela is giving all types of facilities and chances for improving myself in all ways. It is conducting NSS for social work which will help to increase my character as well as my better way of thinking.

I guss that college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Now we are studying bye online. So we don't know the facilities about classroom, libraries ,sports etc. The living spaces is clean and foor is hygienic.

I am studying in Mining branch. The all type of subject for this course having perticular teacher and all the teacher are fine by teaching level. I thing that my curriculum is updated and all the recent developments in the field. All the study makes me job ready but I have to do my best for the course.

I don't know the total cost of the course per year. Yes I feel that i am getting my money's worth. Because the all teacher, senior and all CR for perticular group are supportive. That the very good thing that if u have facing any issues then someone has been there to solve the problem.

I haven't seen my college campus but i gusse its large , healthy environment and many other things like its best features. Decipline can engage in. All students,teachers and staffs are supportive. Its nearer to our location. Yes it is safe. It handle emergencies

Ye like the facilities given by the institute. The facilities are supportive and much more thing feel u good. Mainly the carriere 360 it is the way to submit ur thoughts regarding the institute.Its the very good things for all and me.

Our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment.our college has libraries 8n which we can access very easily access it.you can issuue any book through it.we have laboratories which has many equipments. We have different sports ground for different sports .we can play anywhere on any time. There is no restriction to play any on the ground. Hostels are well mentain ,clean toilets, etc. Living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic .

I am studying at National institute of raurkela.because i wanted to do engineering and this is the best of the college i got from my JEE ranking. The quality of teaching is very good .teachers are interactive and helpful in nature. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.If i study well then i can get job if i don't then i may not get it.

The placements are very good in the college.85% is the percentage of students were placed.the highest pacage is 42Lpa and he was doing computer science cource.average salary offered is 8-9Lpa. The placement process is easy and pleasant for us.the college is very supportive.

The tution fee per semester is 1 lakh and other hostel,mess,etc.as compared to other colleges the fee structure is acceptable and the value for money for college is good. It has low fees for different categories.

The college campus is very big.it has canteens, anytime u can go there and have some snacks.there are greenery all around. So whenever u feel alone get into the beauty of college and enjoy.the college has fest every year which u can feel like heaven there.

Infrastructure in NITR is one of the best of all NIT's, as soon as you enter the college you could feel the vibe, there are facilities for everything. classrooms and labs are well equipped. Hostels here uses LAN network which would be pretty enough. Greenery is the thing which drags your attention all the. Atmosphere here is serene. Hostel facilities need to be maintained well.

I'm not having any peculiar interest in any core, but after joining in EIE department curiosity surged like anything it's all because of the faculty here. Every professor here are highly experienced and strive to imbibe every student with knowledge. Curriculum here is on par with all leading colleges.

Placements here are good enough but still need improvement. Nearly 90% of the students get placed through PPO's and campus placements. Here placements range from giant software tech's to every non circuital branch. Average package this year was in between 8-10 lac. The placement cell here take atmost care about every student during placements.

Yes, obviously the exposure you get out here is the best value for money. Facilities here provided are worth for it. Per year you would get about 90k expenditure. Academics and every extra curricular activities are very much affordable. Overall it is good.

If a student has to do great things I can assure that NITR would be the greatest destination ever. Campus here is very vibrant, you would find every facility for every sport here. Fests are the absolute pleasant both culturally and technological aspects. Club culture is one more thing I would like to add there are around 70 clubs out here. Night life is amazing.

Dream Destination for Technical aspirant.

Our college have many facilities. Every room and every floor is especially is clean. Everyday cleaners will come and clean. I am from Telangana so that food at NIT Rourkela is unfamiliar with me. Even though I queit like it. And internet facilities are too good. There is large library and every book is available. There is large ground for sports . There so many clubs we can join any club we want and the activities club does are very interesting. I can say you can live well in this campus.

I am in Integrated physics. This course is have 5 years . NIT ROURKELA is very good for the person who want to go to research side. Teachers are well qualified and best teaching is is available. It is also helps in knowing society very well.

There is no need to think over about a job . If you perfom well there will be many placements waiting for you outside. Every company that comes here is big and famous company. Everyone here is very supportive to do your job.
