When we talk about NIT Rourkela,One of the best thing which cones to our mind is it's great infrastructure whichAlmost everything is available her in the campus and a large area is is yet to be built later for many other facility. Buildings and Hostels and other facility centres are well maintained as well. Hostels facilities need more improvement.

I'm studying EIE here and quality of teaching isn't good. I don't feel quality is good in anywhere else in India as well. Curriculum is quite good but feels outdated sometimes. Sometimes I feel why I study these.

Apparently the placements are good here not great though. I've heard of average placement is around 8-10pa. for EIE students with highest package of around 20+lpa to lowest of around 3lpa. Majority packages lies in 5-8lpa.

Not value for money after the Covid-19 situation where we were literally charged for everything we not supported

Best campus life only demerit is the presence of a nice restaurant but that doesn't keep it away from 5 star.

Nit Rourkela is the 2nd hugest engineering campus after IIT kharagpur and it spreads over about 1500 acres. It is famous for it's green environment and all other things like it's nature beauty and etc. It has also other essential things like mess food which is better than other hostels and medical facilities are available in it. There are also parks, mountains in the campus which adds beauty to it.

Academics department of Nit Rourkela is good. It contributes all engineering science management humanities. There are a lot of engineering branches and add to this, there are other courses like bsc, msc , dual degree courses, arts, architecture etc. Every faculty, staff and students are also committed for a bright future under the indo German partnership in higher education.

Placements at Nit Rourkela is also a good number. Maximum number of students got placed every year. It's highest goes upto like 40 to 45LPA and average salary goes to 7-9LPA.Minimum salaries are like 1.5-2.5LPA.

My course is integrated msc in mathematics, which is a 5years course. Iam giving about 80-90 thousands per year for my course and it's good enough than other colleges. With this much of money, I have got my requirements for my satisfaction about studies.

Campus life Nit Rourkela is very much good because at this campus I feel very happy to live different state students and it provides godd hostel facilities and it has nss like things which various programmes which let me to stick to this campus and it's location is at such a beautiful place that makes my every moments better.

Overall this college is good at all of things and it is also a helping hand for the students to make their future bright.

The Institute has very good facilities not only for Mechanical Engineering but also for all other branches. The infrastructure is quite better as compared yo many other Institutes of National Importance. The hall of residence for first years have 2 badminton-court, 1-volleyball court. The campus also includes a Olympic size swimming pool and a floodlight fed Cricket stadium. So there is a very good environment for a balanced life.

Currently I am studying Mechanical Engineering. I am in first year so subjects of all branches are taught equally. The faculties are very helping and supportive. I would not say the quality of teaching is the best but it is very good. Almost all the professors are always ready to clear our doubts. We have a class called Workshop Activity in which we practically build stuffs using various tools which increases our technical experience.

It is one of the most underrated institute of India in terms of placements. Almost every branch get >85% placement which is not regularly achieved by many IITs. The highest placement this year is 42lpa from CSE branch. But it is not deceiving because ECE branch's highest is 31lpa, EE-26lpa, EIE-30lpa, ME-18lpa, CHE-22lpa. Even lower fetching branches like Bio-tech and bio-med, Civil, etc also fetch good package due to which the average placement of the whole institute generally goes >6.5lpa.

I rate this good. Because it is fully worth for money. Every sem costs for 99,000INR which is quite high for a middle class family but you are always free to take Education loan. And it is worth it because the balanced life between studies and enjoyment do not disappoint you. And the overall return you get after graduating from here is always worthless.

Campus life is best in this college. Here you can find a bunch of clubs in SAC which you can always choose according to your Interests. No time to be bored. We organise various events throughout the year. Friends and seniors are very helpful. Teachers and staffs are also very helpful. They always pay heed to your problems. The location is what takes the institution down a bit. It is situated on the outskirts of the city(Rourkela) which ruins your city tour plans.

It is one of the most underrated institute in India.

AS THE INSTITUTE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST INSTITUTE OF THE COUNTRY ESTABLISHED IN 1961 SO IT HAS A ONE OF THE BIGGEST AND THEOLDEST CAMPUS IN AMOUNG ALL THE ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN INDIA. YES THE COLLEGE HAVE EVERY THING .ITS LIKE A WORLD OF ITS OWN . THERE IS EVERY THING INSIDE THE CAMPUS .LECTURE AVENUE WHERE FINNE QUALITY LECTURE IS DELIVERED TO THE STUDENTS.YEAH CLEANLINESS IS LITTLE LACKING BUT OVERALLY IT IS CLEAN. LAB CLASSES AND LIBRARIES ARE JUST FAV.

I AM CURRENTLY STUDYING METALLURGICAL AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING. AS I AM CURRENTLY IN THE FIRST YEAR I HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH THE SECOND YEAR SO I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE CURRICULUM BUT THE FIRST YEAR IS COMMON SYLLABUS TO LL AND I FEEL THE FIRST YEAR SYLLABUS IS GREAT.

PLACEMENT SCENARIO IS GOOD IN THIS INSTITUTE. IT MAJORLY DEPENDS ON THE STUDENTS. SO MOSTLY 99% STUDENTS ARE PLACED HERE WITH A GOOD ANNUAL PACKAGE .LAST YEAR IN 2019 TWO STUDENTS FROM CS BRANCH GOT PACKAGE OF 42 LPA. AVERAGE SALARY IS ABOUT 6-7 LPA. I AM NOT GONE THROUGH THAT STAGE AS I AM IN FIRST YEAR .WHEN I WILL GO THROUGH THEN I WILL SURELY TELL.BUT YES THERE IS PLACEMENT CELL IN THE INSTITUTE WHICH SUPPORTS STUDENTS IN CRACKING INTERVIEWS AND GETTING PLACED AND CRACKING INTERVIEWS.

THE COURSE FEE PER YEAR IS RS 60,000.AND YES I FEEL THE MONEY IS WORTH AS THE TEACHING STANDARDS ARE NOT QUIET WELL BUT THEY ARE JUST AMAZING .AND HERE THE FACULTIES ARE VERY SUPPOTIVE YOU CAN CONTACT THEM WHENEVER JUST INFORM THEM THAT YOU HAVE A DOUBT AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU A SPECIFIC TIME IN WHICH YOU SHOULD GO TO THEIR CABIN AND THEN YOU ARE DONE .AND ALSO THEY JUST GIVE EVERY NOTES AND SLIDES UPLODED IN THEIR SITES FRROM WHERE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE SLIDES AND NOTES.

CAMPUS IS JUST FAV. IT IS SO HUGE AND BEAUTIFUL . ITS LIKE A HUGE PARK WITH EVERY WHERE GREENERY. ALL SORT OF ACTIVITES ARE CONDUCTED IN THE CAMPUS BESIDES ACADEMICS AND YA STUDENTS DO ENGAGE A LOT. STUDENTS ,TEACHERS AND SUPPORT STAAFS ALL HAVE GOOD COORDINANTION AS IT BECOMES OUR FAMILY AND THE CAMPUS OUR HOME. LOCATION OF THE CAMPUS IS IN ROURKELA AND IT IS SITUATED ABOUT 3KMS FROM THE MAIN TOWN.IT HAS MEDICAL ,BANK,GUEST HOUSE AND POSTOFFICE IN THE CAMPUS.

ITS A GREAT FEELING TO BE A PART OF THIS REPUTED AND ONE OF THE LEADING INSTITUTE OF INDIA. OOVERALLY IT MAKES ME FEEL THAT YES IT IS WORLTH THE AMOUNT OF HARD WORK ONE DOES IN PREPARING FOR JEE MAINS.

yes , the infrastructure are pretty good . They are improving in a massive rate. the golden jublee bulding is a very and large building in nitr so you can see it through internet . so you all can go and search there .

academics are major concern in every institute . But in NITR the academics is very well managed my our prof . yes they make us job ready by not only teaching but also giving a pratical examples of so we can understand and apply it .

The placement of cs branch is very good. other branches are also good in nitr . campus selection is another advantage in our institute. the placements of mecanical chemicals are also very good . even for Msc student.

The course cost per year is very good . It is having a good cost for all course and you will be satisfied.

campus life is the thing you all are going to love . its just awesome you all can have fun as well as learn many thing form here .

National Institute Of Technology, ROURKELA is one of the premiere institute of India. It is located in Rourkela,Odisha,India. NITR has all the basic infrastructure that is required to build the character of every student of NITR. It is spread over 1024 acres, which makes it the largest campus of the country. It has different academic building for each department which kind of makes the students comfortable in there way of practice. Everyplace is maintained well. And all the places are hygiene.

I am currently doing my First year in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Btech. Even though we have online classes.. but the teachers are too cooperative. Hence curriculum seems easier. Yes our academic curriculum is updated according to the recent developments in the field. And whatever is taught is Handy and would eventually help us with our job requirements. Hopefully would end up in a good placement.

The placements of NITR is oviously top notch. All the great and named companies visit our college for recruitment. And the students land up with very high package jobs in India and abroad. In our branch 95% of students were placed. And mostly all were with min average of 8 lpa. As far as I have read the placement procedure is easier as our faculties guide us well.

My course that is Btech 1st year costs about Re. 225000...which includes Rs125000 for the first semester and Rs 100000 for the next semester. Yes with the amazing teaching being provided by the faculties every penny is worth it. Can't wait to experience the college life in NITR soon.

So the best part about NITR is it's campus life. I can't describe the worst features as I think (according to what I have heard) is that you actually grow as a person which happens to be the most important lesson and thing in one's life.

Can't wait to go the NITR physically. And enjoy my college for the next 4 years.

The infrastructure of our college is really very good when it comes to the classrooms and the academic buildings ,but my personal opinion is that the hostels can be improved a bit , though they are clean and hygenic.

I have taken the mining engineering course in this college, and feel that the professors are very helpful and knowlegable and are always ready to clear all the doubts and the curriculum is very student friendly.

The placements are very high especially for the circuital branches ,and the highest package last year was of 42 lakhs per annum which was grabbed by a CSE student.The placement cell is very cooperative and even the avg package is good.

Our course costs around 2 lakhs per year, i.e around 8 lakhs per year which includes our tuition fees , food and hostel fees. This college is a value for the money spent in 4 years because it gives you good placements.

The best part of the college life is the campus life because the SAC provides a lot of clubs and other activities to engage in throughout the year. The college fests are a very big attraction for us students , and we gain a lot from the social interaction.

I will surely recommend this college to all my juniors.

Our college has undoubtedly the best infrastructure in the state and across the country as well. The lecture halls add up an advantage to the unbeaten sophisticated architecture. The Golden Jubilee building has also been inaugurated and would be fully functional in the near future. The campus is spread across a vast area of 1200 acres that is the second largest in the country. There are state-of-the-art features installed in all of the buildings like the hostel, e-classroom learning, hostel etc.

Currently I am pursuing my Integrated MSc in Life Sciences because of my interest in research in the working of various fields like nanotechnology, vaccines, medicines, and disease curing techniques. The quality of teaching is upto the mark with 97% of our faculty being PhD holders. Yeah the curriculum is very much updated and also a necessary course with relation to the current situation where there are new ailments coming up every year. Yes my studies make me job ready.

The quality of placements in my college are outstanding with an average of 70-80% placements happening every year and the rest 10-15% going for higher studies. The highest salary package was offered was 43lpa by Adobe to a CSE undergrad. The average salary ranges about 6-7lpa. Can't say about placement for me as I haven't attended any.

My course costs about 1.2Lakhs per year. Its a relatively less costlier course in comparision to BTech. Yes, I feel getting the money's worth as we get to learn the subjects of all branches from the first year itself. Also we may take some electives during our branch course if we attain a required CGPA criterion.

The campus life is awesome, the may be ups and downs but still we should enjoy it to the fullest. The students may engage in various club activities. Also the club culture here is impressive as there are many technical and cultural clubs. Most of the faculty are very good, the staffs are well-off, and the mates and seniors are good too!

NIT Rourkela has the 2nd largest largest engineering campus area in India. It has very good infrastructure and well equipped labs. Even the hostels are quite good. you got LAN services from 8am-5:30pm,

academics at this nit is also good. all the professors are well trained in teaching .all the professors are PhD holder from eminent institute like IITs and other top colleges. professors are very supportive.

The placement statistics of nit rourkela is also very good. The maximum package in last year was 42lakhs ctc and the average package was around 8.75lakhs. The minimum package offered was around 2.5lakh.

The fees for the semester is around 1.2 lakh which is ok considering other private colleges, which charges 3-5 lakh per semester

The campus life at nit rourkela is excellent. It has excellent sports facilities and it even has a olympic sized swimming pool also.

NIT rourkela is excellent place to pursue your engineering.

National institute of technology have all the necessary infrastructure and equipment, nice class rooms and good lab equipment. Living spaces are clean and the foos was hygienic. Nit rourkela was good it has lots of fest and placements are about 95%.

I don't know the exact number because highest salary package is disclosed, and average salary is 20 lakh for anum, my college is very supportive and placement process was pleasent and easy. We got support from our seniors during placements.

Cost for my course is around 2 lakh per year. And big a yes, i feel it is worthy.
