College structure is awesome ,it is a large campus about 1000 acres.the campus contains many stores and restaurants.it is a wonderful campus for students.this the best place to spend your four years of btech

Academics is very good.the staff is well experienced their respective subject.the college gives the the best of every thing.the staff is very good in interacting with the students.the overall curriculum is very in the national institute of technology ROURKELA

Nit rourkela has a placement above 90% in the campus placements.the campus placement percentage is increasing from past years continuosly.All respective departments have good placement percentage.it is overall good

Im student of a rourkela here the campus is in good atmosphere and here we can see good infrastructure that is very useful for the students here .The campus management is very helpful for all students for providing the good infrastructure

Placements in the NIT rourkela are very good .every year so many multinational companies are visiting the campus and offering jobs to the students and the package is almost 10 lakhs above per annum who are performed well in the interview and the mostly job offering course is here the computer science course and it is esay to get good placements in the rourkela

My course in rourkela is mining dual degree for completing my course in 5 years it costs me almost 8 lakhs for 5 years and it is 1 lakh 40 thousand per year .I feel my money getting worth because my faculty is teaching very good I'm happy with the faculty .and the hostel management is also good they are providing good food.

The college has all facilities available. There are libraries, labs, gyms and hostels with high speed wifi. Everyday the classrooms are neat and clean. The infrastructure is well planned with large space. Hostel food is very good. Laboratories have all the equipment.

I am pursuing Btech with electrical engineering. The faculty members are so cooperate and very helpful. The faculty members are so well treated persons and the explanation just amazing to express the subject the professors are preparing their daily ppt's and they giving their best to teach us. I am so glad to be a student of this institute .

I think the placements of an institute place a vital role for the upgrade. There is almost 95% placements for electrical engineering. This branch has many sources to get placement at any platform. The average package ? is about 5lakhs package .The college package is additionally than it be.

The fee is Around 1 lakh 20 thousand per year this includes all the extra charges also like current bill,hostel room fee, mess charges all etc. The fee is worth it as the facilities u see in the institute.

The campus life is just amazing and also it is the first experience of mine I felt so well to be alone the feeling you get that you are independent. Being one of the top NIT, the college infrastructure is very well maintained. The Campus is huge, There's Greenery around, The hostels are clean and canteen food is fine. The facilities provided by the Institute is good.

I'm from Metallurgical and Material Department, I'm studying this subject as I'm interested in Chemistry. The quality of teaching is good, Some of the faculties are really good but not all. The peers and seniors are good helping hand in Academics. The only problem that I face is the 85% mandatory attendance which is more than 10% more than other NITs.

The placement record of NIT Rourkela is really good. Big companies come to the campus for recruitment purposes, the placement cell of NIT Rourkela do their job very well. The placement percentage is very high in the Institute.

NITRKL has one of the best infrastructure and biggest amongst all NITs (second biggest after IIITKGP). According to TOI It is ranked the top most position. Best outlook of its infrastructure are Backpost , hostel , SAC , LA , BBA , Rangcol(canteen), GOLDEN JUBLIE

Academic of NIT Rourkela is outstanding and professor are quite helpful and focus on technical skill development of students rather than focusing only on theory. Only demerit is that 85% attendance is important but it's now casual in almost every renowned college of India. Courses curriculum is updated and industrial requirement focused.

Being a top notch NIT , Placement is awesome for almost every technical branch. CSE students enjoy the cream of the placement as 100% students got placed in CSE within 4 months of placement session average package around 12-15 LPA . ECE , Mechanical and electrical also have almost 100% placement record with avg kage around 10-11 lpa. Other branch like civil, mining , chemical and metallurgy have almost 98% placement record with avg package 7-8 lpa.

Almost 2 lac per year is cost of BTech students. It's infrastructure and mess quite value for money

Our colleges largest library in India . It consist of resources with over 60,000 volumes , 1400 journals and periodicals,700 CDs and videos and cassettes. Hostel ,there are nine halls of residence ,sports complex, labs , gym , Hospital ,ATM facility ,laundary , animals houses , swimmings pool ,open air Theater , and many other.

Nit rourkel is a Good ranked college in nirf ranking in academic ,It have most experienced faculty . The education system is quite upto date, the learning,teaching process is very much transparent. overall it is good college for being graduate .

Placement is very good in nit r . It have different branches . So the placement for all branches are different but it also depend on the student curriculum .Different big companies came to campus for placement, The average package is mostly depend on type of company.

The cost for 4 year b-tech is quite high .There a different sections for fee like mess fee, academic fee ,hostel fee, and many others ,we basical pay per semister , still as comparing other institutions it is not much large.

The campus life is very much intersting , full of joys . There are different clubs in which we can search our passion in engineering and many other fields.It have many internships to foreign and we can compete with other nits in different sector .

NIT Rourkela has one of the largest infrastructure of all engineering colleges in India spreading over 1200 acres.The facilities in NIT Rourkela are pretty good. There is a basketball court, gym for girls and boys both. In 1st year we shall have have to share our room with 2 other roomies which is pretty good for our interactions.Definitely yes,the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic too.

I am in the Minning department of NIT Rourkela. Mining industry is very essential part of our industry since it includes extraction of valuable minerals from earth. this industry supports other jobs too. This is the reason why i took this branch.Since I am a fresher I cant say much about the curriculum and the recent developments in this field in our Institute but as i said it definitely makes you job-ready.Placements in TATA, Coal India,and many other too.

This institute is a very good option for placements too. Last year a student from Metallurgy department got placed in one of the finest IT companies ,i.e. Microsoft. And the highest package offered is 40 Lakhs Per Annum.And also about 700 job offers were given. The average salary package in NIT Rourkela is about 9 Lakhs per Annum.

Infrastructure of the college is extremely good This college has campus area 1200 acres . Which is second largest campus across India . College has super good infrastructure.There is a lot of hostel .

College infrastructure is very good .In College have every required facilities and all equipment. class rooms are very neat and clean in class rooms have projector and Proffeser will give the explanation by using projector very clearly. Laboratories have all equipment which is required to do experiments very good library have all kinds of books. College ground is to large and we can play all types of games. Hostels are very neat and clean and good mess with hygiene food Wi-Fi with good speed

Teaching is very good in the college am studying Electronics and instrumention engineering. Am interested to do electronics in top NIT. And Rourkela is on Top in list so, I preferred this college and college has very good curriculum and have all types of developments in the field I can surely say college give me good job within the campus placements

College placements is very good it is 90% and highest salary package is 48 lakhs till I know this information and average salary is 9 to 12 lakhs per annum. Placement process is nice and good and it is pleasant and in placements college will give support to what we have to do in interview they support in every aspects

Campus life is very good and I had very good friends and our seniors will give every information about campus how we should do regarding work .seniors are very friendly I like the way they speak with us. Proffeser are interactive with us they are so good in teaching

The NITR is a big institute which is 262 hectors or about 650 acers which is the 2nd biggest institute after IIT Kharagpur. So you can assume how big it is and there are also new buildings that are being build. There are also big hostels canteen area and hostel area big library and any other thing u ask about. Even the garden is quite big. There is also places for extra curricular activities and places like football court basketball court and a swimming pool also for indoor games places.

NITR has quite a lot of academic career choices mainly based on engineering but also available many other like msc. and phd programs and they are pretty good. In first year you have all the branch's classes in common so you have all the ideas of how all branch work so you can also do our branch change after 2nd semester on end of 1st year. All the lecturer are pretty good as well. But the thing is you have to study. All is good then.

NITR has ranked 16 in all Indian engineering colleges and 30th rank on overall University on NIRF rank 2019. So you can know how hard it is to get into the college. The placement is quite good you can get pretty good placements with salary jobs the higest was 42 LPA in CSE in the past which is pretty high.

NITR has been and always will be quite value for money. And i gotta say i feel the same. It is quite good the food we get in canteen and the lecturers the placements the curricular activities all are good.

The campus life is quite good new buildings are also added now which will help in the living the campus even for married people and even for lecturers and it is pretty good. They are pretty clean good big so no problem there
