Classroom, libraries, laboratories, sports centers and hostels are well-maintained and hygienic . There wont be much problem in boarding . The mess food is good but always having the same menu is booring .

I am pursuing chemical engineering , the quality of teaching is very good , professors are well qualified and friendly but yeah some of the professor are always there who are a lil more strict. They help u whenever u face issue regarding ecademics.

As it is one of the top most NIT the placement is very good with a placement percentage of 90+ . But there are less chemical industries in the market so chemical core job is less but not very less and students get well placed in analytics and consultancy fields .

Course cost per year would be arround 1 lakh, but for economically weaker people the tution fee is free so the get a cut of 60k .

You will enjoy lot in the campus , engaging with great mind would be help u improve drastically.

Students can wear what they wish to and we having a big and spacious campus with well stocked library and laboratories. Quality of food is acceptable. Cooking methods are hygienic. College is also having hostels for girls

Relatively hectic with more than 15 lectures per week with not much industry visit but practical discussion around case studies take place often. Here teachers help the students with resources and there own experience.

The placement scenario is quite good in our institute both private companies and PSUs visit our campus. The average package is 10-12 lac per annum with highest package of 40-50 lac per annum. Our placement percentage is 80-90%.

It has very good infrastructure.The hostels are so spacious.Mess and gym are very attractive and study room contains an ac.There are also canteens and juice centers and book stalls near to hostels.We are provided with geaser in washrooms.

Class rooms are very large and colourful.The infrastructure is also very attached the teachers are interactive.the way we have our classes are punctual.we are having doubt sessions and extra curricular activities also

Placements are nice in nit Rourkela the offering pakages and companies we are hired are very professional.we have ot rounds and interviews during the selection.we can get an intern offer in the starting from 5th semister.

I'm in OBC category,i play around 99,000/- per sem.

We have fests for every span of 2 months and ncc also.

Our college has an excellent infrastructure with strong buildings with good interior designs, corridors are maintained with advanced equipment like CC cemara for students welfare. Classrooms are equipped with projectors for advanced smart classes for better understanding of studies.

This institute concentrates in students academics by taking their lectures to the next level like introducing students lo smart classes, doing practical experiments on them , industrial visits,real time projects.

Our institution maintains a good relation with the high prestigious companies in order to place the students in a good position with a decent required package. Special classes will given which are required for the recruitment process.

Students money is absolutely valued here. Neat college hostels were provided to students , good food is provided by experienced chefs , good garden is maintained for students mental health.And also the physical sports are available like cricket, football with a well designed ground.

We have experienced a good campus life here , the atmosphere here make us feel like we are home.Every maintains a good bonding with each other. Student security is provided like 24/7 especially for the girls .

A very good college

I am pursuing my B.Arch in NIT Rourkela. As it is one of the top NITs it has the best infrastructure and spacious campus. Our classrooms are large and equipment in laboratories and workshop are the best, anyone can understand the subject easily. They are well-maintained and used frequently. Hostel rooms have best atmosphere.

The quality of teaching is very good. The professors are knowledgeable. Curriculum gets updated. Every branch gets satisfactory facilities and knowledge. Our professors are very patient that they can't leave any student unanswered. But my course is B.arch ,It is very difficult and you will have a lot of work load .

The placements will be according to the branch. As b.arch has very less demand in our country, the graph of placements in my course is very low. But ,talking about other branches like cse,ece ,they will get minimum of 30LPA. In the aspects of placements, our college actively encourages the students and gives the best placements for the students.

NIT Rourkela is a national college under government of India, It has reasonable costs for every course. I felt worthy for my course. The course I took was very challengeable ,So our professors are giving best knowledge and trying to update us every time. So I think my cost per year is worthy.

I will complete graduation this year. I am feeling so grateful to be a part of this college. That friendly vibe I get from students and faculty is impressive. The faculty, management staff feels like home. Rourkela is one of the rich cultured city. One can witness the best culture of India.

The teachers are wonderfull and they act like a friend ,they show the path for the better life and also teach us the moral of life and respect to the society ,how to fight with our downs in our life and create opportunities for us.

Nit Rourkela has a huge campus filled with greenery . There are food stalls inside the campus which stays open till midnight and is a place of attraction for the students. The college also has gymnasium with two instructors. In short the campus life is a very cool one and you can have a nice gala time over here.

The infrastructure is really good.It does have hostel facilities and a good quality of food. Every campus is surrounded by greens and the atmosphere is peaceful everywhere. Wifi service is available and it does have sport centers. The laboratories and the classrooms were good.

The training & placement cell here organises various events like guest lectures, corporate meets etc to provide placement support for the students. However given the pendemic situation, what i have observed is that the placements have not been that good in the past few years.

The academics of this college is pretty average. Currently I am doing my btech degree in computer science. The courses or rather curriculum is still outdated and few branches are going to be introduced from next year. One thing is a plus over here ,professors will be available to solve your doutbs no matter how much time it takes.

For the 2021 batch , average package 9.36L and highest package was 45 L which was bagged by 3 students. It was given by Microsoft. Many offers for internships has been made by companies like microsoft, Bajaj auto, Citibank. 211 students selected for it. In my branch there is 100% placement.

Nit Rourkela is absolutely worth for its value for money. Because the fees spent in course of four years is very less as compared to the packages we get. In 8-9L our course is done and if you get fee remission then it would cost you around 3-5L depending on certain terms and conditions.
