Good infrastructure, huge campus, well equipped hostel and hostel cafeteria, good labs with availability of new and cutting edge instruments, opportunities to participate in cross department research activities, nice library, wifi speed, garden. Clean and green environment which is well maintained.

Workload w.r.t. curriculum is moderate, some of the subjects need syllabus updates to match the industry standards, Scope of improvements in sem and evaluation structure. A lot of facilities in terms of research, cross department research, conference and national and international publications. Makes the students competent for job/higher studies

Versatility when it comes to the number and types of companies visiting, placements is moderate for Int/Mtech branches. Good placement policy and average stats are good when compared to other Engineering institutions.

Fair course fee. Frequent fests at institution, department, hostel level. Good facilities available.

Amazing. Good senior junior interaction, rich club culture. Opportunities to participate in sports, cultural, technical and managerial activities. People are friendly.

College campus is huge and one of the largest in India, it has everything from numerous cafeterias to restaurants and canteens, 10 hostels to go with different mess in each of them. Worth the praise for its campus

Quality of teaching is about par, it depends on the teacher, most of them are good but can't be expecting much as it's a government institution. It's worth going for and you won't regret it for sure .

Average salary offered is around 7-8 lacs discounting the off campus placements, it has a decent campus placement probably a bit hampered by number of branches it has that are a bit unknown to other colleges

Best thing about this college is infrastructure next to studies and placements.Nit rourkela has 10 different hostels and it has a campus area of around 700 to 1200 acres with seperate building for different branches

Here i am studying mining engineering .The quality of teaching is really good . And what i study here really makes me ready for job.Talking about the curriculum then yes it is updated and includes all recent development in the field

Placements are really outstanding with hundred percent placement in my department.The highest placement is generally backed by cse where companies like microsoft ,google give the highest packages.Average salary of all branches here is about 6 to 7 lakh.

Depends upon friend circle that what type of friends you have in your group.My friend circle is phenomenal so my college life is very good.

Facilities and infrastructure of National Institute of technology are very satisfying and comfortable. It also provides Wi-Fi facility on the campus, and there are labs, classrooms and a library. Everything is well and good, and our Institute provides various opportunities for student

I am a student on B.Tech of faculty of Computer as it will provide me with an exposure to the corporative world and its competitiveness. The professors are good and the way they teach is pretty average. I guess the curriculum is updated

Well, placement of is B-tech very good, for M-tech you get placed if you are good in coding. Personality matters a lot. Some companies came with good package. I personally got internship offer from tata with 40k month and job offer in nokia with 10lpa. Though its not great but still, from power systems it quite difficult to get a job

Expensive, though in mtech we get stiphen of 15.4 k but for btech the fee is nearly 1.5lakhs per sem. Thats huge if you are not comming from good stable family. Forigen students are even charged more sometimes double

In mtechs there is not too much of extracurricular activities. Mostly people are focused in their projects, activities and getting a job. Though we play cricket and swim sometimes but nothing at a very good level. There is only one girl in our class, so no point on discussing gender ratio

Institute is great, the infrastructure and facilities provided but i strongly feel something has to be done for the mess. If we were allowed to choose our mess the food would have been better

Lots of opportunities in facilities and infrastructure are available in our college . Classrooms are in good conditions and very big . There is good library with air conditioned and also there is WiFi facilities

The curriculum is always updated as per new needs of industry . Teachers are very helpful and kind who are always ready to help students at any situation . They explain the topic until each student understand the topic.

About 8 out of 10 students get placed in our course and the placement offers are from the big firm . The average package is around 6 lpa and the highest package is around 22 LPa. Aditya Birla group is major recruiting firm.

Fess NIT rourkela is average . I am a Btech student and my fees was around 7.9 lacks for entire course . Also tution fees waiver is for students who are from reserved candidate of government scholarship .

Our college conduct many cultural fests like Virdhi , InterNit , cosmopolitan . During fests students gets lots of opportunities to show their talent skills . There are also many clubs for dance , singing .

The college is fantastic in academics and infrastructure . Also the college give best placements to the students and also we get various internships opportunities. College campus is too beautiful and all seniors are very cool

the campus is spread over an huge area..it is green and ecofriendly ,it has the tallest building in rourkela the golden jubilee building...which was virtually inaugurated by the education minister recently...

i am currently a freshman in the college..... and studying int msc maths ....the teachers are very knowledgeable and cooperative ...the cirriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field

the placement for the senior batch have been quite decent ..almost eveyone was placed ..the highest package was 43 lpa last year..and the average in our branch was 9lpa since all the courses here are qualitative and quantitative it attracts alot of companies

i pay 2 lacs (approx) per year... and i think its worthy, if we see all the facitilies provided by the instituition ,hostel and libraries...nirf ranking of the institution is also pretty cool so i think its worthy..

we havent been on campus yet ....but the reviews given by the seniors were pretty good..there are 80+clubs for different fields ...it has a very active social life wherein all festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation..

Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment.classrooms are also well managed ,neat and clean .food is also hygienic.wifi is also available .smart boards are also present

I am studying electrical engineering in nit Rourkela and I think it's a intersting and hard branch but proffecers are very helpful and student friendly.they clear every single dbouts of students.yes I think curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the filed

Placement is very high in nit Rourkela better than other colleges .every year it is increasing.placement process is easy and pleasant .yes college is very supportive . Everyone is very supportive when it comes to students

The course cost a little much .but I think it worth because we can learn everything that we paid for also close to our dream.we have to only work hard to achieve the success and also scholarship facilities is here

Nir rourkela is one of indias top institute not in providing higher and quality of education not only in education also it has a large pracement. More than 90 percent students gets placed every years and rest opt for higher studies. The students who got placed they receive a good handsome pakages with average 12 lacks per annum amd highest pakages of more than 40 lacks per annum

Nit rourkela is a rop class institute in our country studying here is a matter pf proud for every student and dreams of many students. It is a goverbment institute so in cost of money ot os very much cheap even middle class families can easily get into this campus. Its cost us not much high as conpared to private institutes. Nit rourkela ha vast campus located in the middile of treees and hills it is more than 600 acers. Living here is very much comfortable. Here there are large play grounds where we can play each and every sports and ut also has a swimming pool. Teachers and staffs are here vely much helpful and supportive they are always ready to help us.

Nit rourkela is one of the top class government institute in our india. Is has a vast area campus area and well equipped buildings. Here you will find every department has its own building. Here teachers are highly qualified and supportive they always help us. Here dean also supports us and motivates us. Overall studying here is very much proud for me

The college have all the necessary equipments and facilities. We have LAN port in our college. The campus area covers 265 hectares with full of greenery. The living space is even good and the hygeine of the food is well maintained.

I'm pursuing Btech in NIT ROURKELA . Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. We are allowed to choose electives in 2nd year which is helpful to know more about our field of interest.

The placements here are quite good. The highest package offered was around 60 lacs. Talking about the respective branches, computer science department always tops the list. The placements for other branches is also equally good.

The course costs around 80k.

The campus area is quite large with full of greenery. It has around 9 hostels including 7 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. The college provides us with the amazing clubs which you can choose as per your field of interest.

The college is very rich in case of Infrastructure. It has well developed modern technology based infrastructure and much advanced Infrastructure which helps the students in making their life comfort at the campus.

Academics section is mind-blowing at the National Institute Of Technology, Rourkela.The teachers are much experienced and they are able to explain you the things very easily. The teachers are much helpful also.

Placement of this College is good . Approx 90% of the college students gets placed . The average package of the course was 6-7 lakhs per annum which is surely a good starting package. My college was supportive.
