NIT rourkela is the 2nd largest campus in india,which is a township itself,the classrooms are vast and hostels are good enough.The mess is connected to the hostel.The cleanliness is maintained.There is a night canteens in every hostel it remains open till 3 in the morning. There are playgrounds for each and every game.

There is nothing different from other colleges as you know the education system.You know the criteria of being a professor you must have a degree of p.hd.It has a mandatory 90% attendance.work load i think is a little bit heavy,the timings are 8am to 5pm(2-3 hour off in between)for weekly 5 days.saturday and Sunday are holidays.

As our professor said 7 to 8 pointers of nitrile are more successful rather than 8 pointers because of very much extracurricular activities.The average CTC increased from 7.48 to 8.75 LPA.Placements in 2020 have witnessed a total of 909 job offers.

It is the 2nd hugest engineering campus after iit kharagpur and is spread over about 1500 acres.nit rourkela is famous for awesome greenry which provides the best atmosphere and other facilities are good too.the library has resource with over more than one lakh books.there are overall ten halls of residense ,seven for boys two for girls and one for married couples .the hostel rooms are mainly single or double occupied room,in campus hostel .in campus nearly all sports playground are available fo

For the corona pendamic i have not been in college yet but i know that the study quality is pretty good.the faculties will take care of you if you have any doubts.but you have to do more self study otherwise the teachers cant help you.

Its placements are really good . My branch is dual degree mining engineering .its placements are really good.its average placement package is five to seven lacks per annum and almost all students are placed. In my opinion if u chose nit rourkela then you made the correct choice . It is the 16 th best engineering college in india.

I am currently studying in dual degree mining engineering branch . The first semseter fee is 122500 rupees and it is the highest fee among all ten semesters and then you have to pay 99000 from second semester to eighth semester and in 9 th semester you have to pay 102000 and in last semester you have to pay 99000 again.

In campus life nit rourkela is the best among all nits and iits in my opinion . Nit rourkela offers the best campus life that you ever had in your entire life . Its campus life is very great . A lot of things you will do in the campus of nit rourkela . If you are thinking about chosing nit rourkela then go for it.

It has the best campus life . You will make a lot of lifelong friends here . When after four year you are about to leave the campus , you will be in tears . Those four or five year campus life experience will be the best life you will ever have in your entire life . After that you will be busy in your career.

Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure,The college is well maintaiined and too good to study . when we talk about the classrooms,those are too good and the environment around us will be extraordinary and the class mates treat will you in such a way u will feel too good about them.

Coming to academics there is no way to dis satisfy with the academics ,nit rourkela is giving u the best academic process of all the colleges.the environment around u will be extraordinary u camt even imagine about it in that way.and yes i believe thet my study makes me job ready.

When coming to placements it is about more than 90 percent every year. It is very good.there are about moretham 90 percent of students placed everyyear the avaerage salary would be of2lakh per annum.yes the place ment process is very easy and pleasent for all,and college was very supportive for me and the highest salary was around 39lakh per anumm according to my knowledge.

The campus will gave the value fir your money the lectureres are too good etc . For me its around one lakh and two thousand every year.yes of course its money worth because it makes value for your money

Just excellent.haa our college is of around300acres of library ,campus ,hostel, extracurricular activities like yoga,awareness programs,arts,sports etc.,it is located in rourkela,odisha.it is very safe according to is geometric conditions.yes of course it can handle emergemcies ofcoursr.

Overall the college is equal to the iits according to my knowledge up to now.

It has all and advanced infrastructure with all libraries and laboratories , and we'll maintained hostels (separate hostel for boys and girls)... That's the place your can have your best time in your life.

The professors are too good and will teach you in the best way ... They have all the knowledge you would require in next upcoming years.... Knowledge is vast and being a Nitian we need to acquire the maximum we can and they are the sources and are too cooperative ...

The placements are much better than other colleges , many of our seniors get 16lac + package and they are doing too well in their lives... And for a successful career I guess NITR is one of the best..

The cost is lower than other colleges and students can apply for scholarships too for money ... And when you are in NITR if you want to get a study loan too you can get it easily

If you are in National Institute of Technology Rourkela infact,then you are going to have the best time of your life with a schedule which you would be comfortable with and a nice circle of people... No raging , nothing and all stay there at peace ...

My experience was too good and my online classes were chill and teachers were too good and they could may us understood the whole concepts online itself

The college stands on a vast area of more than 600 acres, one of the biggest in the whole country. There is almost everything a student would ever need. There is a huge library with a colossal collection of books and journals as well as research papers. One can just marvel at the sheer grandeur of the architecture here.

Being one of the premier institutes in the country, one would surely expect the academics to be of top quality. And in that case, NIT Rourkela stands tall. The professors here are highly qualified and equally experienced. They are also very keen when it comes to helping the students, as per my experience. The syllabus is as per the guidelines, but there are plenty of opportunities to learn more than that.

As per my knowledge, the college has received almost 100% placements in almost all the branches. As I am from metallurgy branch, I can say that the placements in my branch are great too. Students can go both in core and non-core placements, without any dilemma as they are equally good.

When it comes to studying in such an acclaimed institute as NIT Rourkela, one can be always sure of the money. Looking at the amount of exposure you get, along with the opportunities and resources in all the fields of life, it is of course a superb value for the fees you give.

As I joined during this pandemic, I haven't practically experienced the campus yet. But, you can say the campus is great when you feel a longing to go there every time the image of the campus comes before you. And even according to our seniors, the campus is the best. There is everything you want, a great place to study, work, play, everything.

College infrastructure is mind boggling. Laboraties , libraries, sports , centres and hostels ( for eg. Wifi , smart boards) are really satisfying. Sports ground is huge. Libraries has abundant amount of books. And hostels are really well maintained.

Academics part is good. All teachers are well educated and highly qualified. Teaching part is also really good but still needs to be improved. Well only because of online classes , it's difficult to understand some part.

Placements are good. For integrated msc in lifesciences , students generally go for higher studies. Placements come from big big educational institutes. Computer science department gets huge placement packages.

See if you study harder and give your 100 percent . yes it's worth it , if you utilise your time then its value of money . In my course first semester fees was around 70,000 and second sem is around 44,000.

Campus life is really the best thing to experience in college like national institute of technology rourkela. There is so much greenery and clean environment. Teachers are cooperative . one will make a lot of friends and memories once one enter the college.

Due to corona pandemic the colleges are closed .They are teaching using online classes,so ihave not visited college at . According to the information the college has requried infrastructure and the places are clean

iam studying mechanical engineering in this campus,as for now online classes are goining on ,the quality of teaching is good ,teachers are interacting with each other rhe curriculum and recent developments are uploaded frequently

My experience in the college is not uet happening due to covid pandemic ,we have to learn the things from online classes ihavent know about the placements as o was 1 st year student ,i think the placement are pretty good

Ihavent know the course cost correcty but as were at pandemoc i cannot go to college ,i havent know the facilities of the college ,the teaching is good they are interacting to each other ,i think the money is worth the cost

Yes, the college has all necessary infrastructure like Central library, all technical laboratories,clubs, sports ground, swimming pool, gymnasium and many more. It provides free WiFi to the whole campus. Hostel,mess everything is clean and the food is hygienic.

I'm in Mechanical Engineering because of my interest towards physics and mechanics. Yes, the curriculum is updated according to the current skills required by the industries.and the college is absolutely fine.

Placement is about 95% and it's quite good. college is very supportive.And if you keep your cgpa good then definitely you can expect a good placement with a handsome package . Everybody is cooperative.

Fees is according to the family income category.yes, I feel the money worth it. It is about 2 lakh per year but you will get reimbursed a part of it if you come in the required income categories.And the fees is worth of the facilities.

The campus is very beautiful and equipped with all modern amenities. Different technical, sports cultural ,society club are there where you can engage campus is full of greenery and it's very beautiful definitely you will miss the place after completing your degree.

YES, NIT RKL has all the facilities like hostel ,library, sports complex etc. We have smart boards and best faculty which makes education easier. The library has 60000volumes ,1400 journals, 700 CDs. Living space is very good. Food was good but it may need of improvement.

I am studying MECHANICAL ENGG. I am very interested in mechanics part and motors ,so i have choosen mechanical engg. NO, our curriculum is already updated and also includes all the recent developments in the field. AEROSPACE study can me me job ready.

Our collage giving good placements. electrical engg of NIT RKL is quite good. Best salary package offered is around 10 to 12 LPA. Highest package offered is around 40LPA and lowest package offered is around 6LPA.

My course cost per year is about 2lakh. Yes i thinkmy money is worth hand as our collage is 16th rank and giving best education and placements.

With big dream , i get the big campus. My life starts with jogging tracks and then moving to class. Students, teachers are very interactive. Location is very silent. yes it handle emergency very well.

The library has an invaluable resource with over 1300 journals and periodicals,60000 volumes,600CDs and videocassettes.Library also provides over 1200 video courses online.There are nine halls of residence,two for girls and seven for boys.There are various facilities available like Civil engineering lab,physics lab,electrical lab etc.

I am studying M.Tech in Metallurgical and materials engineering.Quality is of teaching is nice and teachers are eager to teach.Yes the circulum is updated regularly and it is making as job ready through various exposures.

Quality is really good as many eminent recruiters,including IBM,Infosys,microsoft,Nokia have visited for final placements.The highest slary package was Rs 42 LPA for a CS student.Nit rourkelas has witnessed a total of 909 job offers.
