Have a question related to NIT Trichy ?

I have cleared JEE mains and advanced in the year 2022.I got mechanical engineering in NIT Trichy in the first round. But unfortunately I couldn't join. Now I completed my BE Csc, first year from private engineering college .Can I get a chance to join in the same NIT institute now. Please guide me.

    Hello dear aspirant,

To get admission in the same institute you will need to give JEE MAINS again and score more than 99 percentile, and sit for counselling rounds again. Keep in mind that one can give JEE MAINS only 3 times in consecutive years, as you gave first attempt in 2022 and its 2025 now you can't give JEE MAINS now so won't be able to get admission in NIT Trichy under BTech.

Chanakya niti boom available in this app??

Yes, there are several apps available on Google Play and the Apple App Store that offer the Chanakya Niti book, either in its entirety or in a collection of quotes and teachings. These apps provide the text in both Hindi and English, and some even offer audio and video versions.

These apps provide a convenient way to access and learn from Chanakya's teachings on life, governance, ethics, and personal development in a digital format.

How can I develop relevant skills for getting placed in software jobs while doing btech in lower branches like Metallurgy, etc in NIT Trichy

If you’re in a branch like Metallurgy at NIT Trichy but want to land a software job, focus on building your coding and problem-solving skills alongside your core coursework. Start with programming languages like Python, C++, or Java, then move on to data structures, algorithms, and databases. Use platforms like LeetCode, Codeforces, HackerRank for practice, and work on personal or open-source projects to showcase your skills. Join coding clubs, participate in hackathons, and complete online courses or certifications in areas like web development, data science, or machine learning. By your 3rd year, aim to have a solid GitHub portfolio and internship experience many NIT Trichy students from non-CS branches get placed in software companies by preparing this way.
