I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about others.

Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview.

Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Also, such projects boosted up my CV and helped me in my placements as well as in my professional career.

One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. As per your query, all the colleges which you have mentioned are the top most colleges for btech in India.

• Manipal University

Manipal university is one of the well-reputed institutes in India. It offers various streams of engineering and you will have large placement chances too. In order to get admission here you should appear for an entrance examination conducted by manipal.

• Vellore institute of technology

Vellore institute of technology provides admission based on the entrance examination VITEEE. It is an old college and has wonderful infrastructure. The counseling remains same as of all the colleges. It offers good placement and teaching too.

• Lovely professional university

LPU is a very vast college with high number of students intake every year. This is not that preferable when compared to all the colleges which you have mentioned and there are placements but due to high strength you will have a huge competition.

• SRM University

You wilk have to appear for SRMJEE to get into btech course here. SRM has a bit high fee structure and offers good placements. This is not that preferable when compared to VIT University, Vellore.

• R.V. College of Engineering.

R.V. college of engineering is the top college in Bangalore and provides admission based on COMEDK rank and also KCET. Here, you will have benefits if you are a karnataka resident and also the management quots seat is highly expensive.

According to me, if you get good rank in VITEEE, better opt for this college and if you have good score in COMEDK, go for R.V.College of engineering.

In other cases, get into Manipal university, but SRM and LPU are not that preferable, try for VIT, RV, and Manipal and if there is no other go, go for SRM.
