AIEED (All India Entrance Examination for Design)- Arch college of design and business conducts All India Entrance Examination for Design to offer admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate design courses. It is an online examination that comprises two phases, Stage I and Stage II. The students must have cleared 10, 12+ classes to be eligible for admissions. Candidates who have a valid NATA score or AIEEE rank can apply directly and get admitted without AIEED. All students from 16 years and above can apply.
UCEED- Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is conducted by IITs to get admitted into design courses in IIT campuses. This national level examination is conducted once a year online. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
NID DAT- NID Design Aptitude Test is an exam through which candidates are selected for undergraduate and postgraduate design courses in NID (National Institute Design) campuses. Two NID admission tests have to be cleared to enter into Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) courses. Undergraduate courses are for 3 hours and postgraduate is for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The mode of examination is offline.
NIFT - National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts NIFT entrance exam to select students for Undergraduate and Postgraduate design courses. The exam takes place only once in a year offline. Those who clear will get admission in one of the 16 NIFTs.
SET - Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design is a university level entrance exam conducted to offer admissions to SIU (Symbiosis Institute of Technology) affiliated colleges. It is conducted online. Applicants should have passed class 12 to appear in SET.
