NIT Jalandhar Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

In point of infrasturcture, this college has very good infrastructure. It has a separate Student activity center building which is one of best building of NITJ for students activity. But I give 4 star because there is shortage of hostels building.

It's academics curriculum is best. I am studying Instrumentation and last year the syllabus is revised, which adds a lot of new technical subjects helping in today's placement. Also, there is proper system to complete the syllabus on time, but apart from all these one big defect in curriculum is of two mid-sem, it takes a lot of time busy in exam stuffs.

There is no doubt on placement of branches like CSE, ECE, ICE but there is little doubt in placement of branches like Civil, textile but if you have talent then you definetely get the placement because there is a lot of companies come for recruitment.

The infrastructure is best of my college . My college has separate halls for first year and separate building for lecture theatre which are air conditionered and neat and clean . Hostels are provided with wifi facilities well maintained library .

This is average the faculty not provide enough facilities for our placements we need to put more effort in our core teams like aavishkar daksh etc but even doing this the faculty doesn't provide attendance to us .

Placements are good but this is on our efforts we need to work hard in core teams and need to maintain attendance even then we can get placement in core companies like Honda etc. If we don't do that we get an average placement of 7 lakh

Not getting money worth of 1.5 lakh and this increases per semester . The hostel fees also gets increase 500 rupees in semester . And the wifi that are provided are not worked properly but we get good and hygiene foods .

The awesome college life . All the festivals are celebrated in hostels also College provide technical and cultural festivals in which stars also invited last year when I was in 1 year Hardy Sandhu came on star night of techniti our technical fests

The best star night of Hardy Sandhu is my best experience .

Yes it has necessary infrastructure. Hostel rooms are ok ok . Poor wifi . It is not available in whole college. Just around IT building. Living spaces are clean. Mess food is not upto the mark which happens in every college.

Some branch teachers are good some are not. But mostly you have to do preparation on your own. Some teachers here are really helpful while some just complete the course. Study makes you ready for job depending upon ur branch and goal.

Placements are quite good of this college. Usually 90% students are placed every year. Cse/IT/Ece branches grab the highest package . Highest package was around forty lakhs avaerage salary offered is 6 lakh.

Well maintained labs and neat and clean lecture theaters the hostel are not well cleaned also we have to accommodate 2 even in final year we do not get our rooms cleaned by hostel management also food is hygiene but not good in taste.

The fees are too high but the knowledge that we get is not worth of fees . But our curriculum get updates regularly and have all the enough chapters that help us in getting good knowledge of our field .

This is good or I should say awesome because my branch has 100 percentage placement in core as well as non core companies . We are also provided minor degrees so that we will able to get placement in coding companies too.

Not good we are paying 1.5 lakh approximately per annum but we are not getting enough knowledge of this payment . I have to put my efforts so that I can manage both minor degree or mechanical too. So we are not getting worth of it.

This is good college location is also good we have bidhipur so that we can get all the required things . We manage many clubs like criminals crew ,team periant ,prayaas and engage in it so that we can develop our skills

Our college has all the necessary infrastructure different departments for different branches. Neat and clean classroom well maintained practical labs air conditionered lecture theatre. Wifi are provided in hostels.

It's is not good because in my branch faculty doesn't bother for attendance so we are not interested in attending lecture or tutorial also not more efforts for good lecture delivery they use ppt and deliver all the lecture

Good placement almost 85 percentage of final got placed this year in core as well as non core companies . We are not having good placement in core companies not have an good average salary . The average salary is almost 6.5 lakh

Not good even providing 1.5 lakh per annum fees we are not get worth of it . We have to put out efforts for our better placement . Such as for getting placed in Microsoft I have to take minor degree in cse but the faculty doesn't provide enough knowledge I have to study hard for this .

This is awesome for any one who are in this college we are having all the clubs in the college for improving our personalities and also for gaining management knowledge etc . College provide us gymnasium for physical fitness sports are also improving us

Our college has all the necessary infrastructure and departments and all the required facilities such as Central seminar hall for fests and program . We have wifi or lan services in hostels and neat and clean lecture theatres.

It is good . The faculty provide good knowledge in practical labs and also in lectures but some faculty do not give required effort to curriculum . The curriculum updated after one semester so that we will what required in curriculum only.

Although we get an average salary of 8 lakh approximately but we have 100 percentage of placement in mechanical and also the placement process is easy so that everyone will get placed . We get placement in core as well as non core companies too.

Course per year is more according to that we get in academics also the hostel management do not provide enough facilities but increase the hostel fee per semester . Boys are in better situation than girls because we don't need to accommodate 5 in a room .

This is the only reason why my college is good because we have 2 best beautiful campus in nits and also we have all the facilities such as Open Air Theatre air conditionered lecture theaters different clubs for extra curriculum activities and gymnasium for physical fitness .

Here,the departments are hygienic and full of equiped labs and chemicals so they we can learn fullest.The computer facilities of the college is fast and available anytime for students in need.yes,it's marvelous to be here.

I am here studying Btech in chemical engineering 2018-2022 batch. The curriculum is updated in 2019 .The faculties are serious about the syllabus and helpful as much as they can through lectures or their motivating words.

Placements are increasing year by year based in the performance of our students it increases or decreases.But the placement cell is very active to get placed their students at a better place .They do their level best.

They value money as they know money is important part in everyone's life.Here they are trying to provide all facilies we can get with money to make us feel a comfortable place to learn and grow as much as we can.

I have earned a lot from this college in terms of personality or guidance.I m grooming myself here in a proper way from first year.now I m in 2nd year.The staffs are so polite and helpful .They keeeps us safe.

It's the most beautiful place I have been living . Growing and learning at the better place is worthy. The facilities and faculties are so familiar with us and make us feel like family .It's just perfect to grow.

Our college has all the necessary infrastructure different departments for different courses well maintained labs but there are no air conditionered lab but lecture theaters are air conditionered and well cleaned .

Good academics but in my branch no such headache for 75 percentage of attendance nobody bother to attend all lecture and tutorials because of it . In other branches the attendance criteria is strictly followed ya worth of money because they provide us placement

This is good almost 85%placements in chemical other prepare for either gate or ies and also the salary package is good enough . But we don't get enough salary in core companies so we have to get placed in non core companies.

Good but not best as one can expect from NITs the academics are good but hostel management is too slow to work they won't provide even water coolers at all 3 floors of hostel we have to go ground floor for water this hurts most even paying huge amount the situation is worse.

This is awesome as college has all the grounds for sports and all clubs facilities like dance drama NCC etc so that we can improve overall personality development also all festivals are arranged by us so that we can how to manage .

Better than other state engineering college

Talking about the CSE Department, We've Got Almost Everything. We've got a beautiful, well-maintained building with all the Lab and Lecture Halls being Fully Air Conditioned and Equipped with Smart Boards. We've got great Lab facilities too with Top Notch System which are Regularly Updated. Overall the College has Extremely good facilities, a Huge Library, a Magnificent Gymnasium, Splendid Eat-outs, a Seven-Story Marvellous Mega Hostel, Wifi with about 10 Mbps speed, Excellent Mess Food!

I'm pursuing CSE from NIT Jalandhar. I've always been interested in coding since I was in 8th Grade, So I had to take CSE after My JEE at any cost, that's why I chose NIT Jalandhar. I was quite Skeptical about the College before but the College exceeded all my expectations! The Faculty and Department heads are making all the necessary changes in the Curriculum to keep it at par with the Industry Requirements, The Professors are Dedicated, Amiable, and Tolerant of Students.

We at NIT Jalandhar have got Excellent Placement Stats even beating some of the best NITs and IITs in that Regard, especially for the CSE Dept. According to the Official Data by TPO, the Highest Package went about 40 Lakhs with an Average Package of 14 Lakhs offered to CSE Students with 96% of them being placed and the Rest Going off for Higher Studies (Mostly Abroad) with Overall College Placement Standing at about 90% and an Average package of about 8 Lakhs!

Totally its a Value for Money with me being a General(Brahmin) I had to play Approx 2 Lacs per year with the Full Sum being about 8 Lacs for the 4-year course Including the Mess, Hostel, Wifi and all other Costs. The Facilities provided by the College are at par with the Cost, even more one Might Say!

Our College Campus has a Stunning/spell-bounding effect on all who visit it. Campus life is Lively and We have a lot of Social, Cultural, and Technical Events Regularly. The Dramatics Club, Dance Clubs, Art, and Craft Society, Debating Society never Fail to Let their Peers down and Keep our Spirits High. The Culture here is Amazing with The Effect of Punjab! The Vibe, the Thrill Its one of a Kind! The Staff is also Cooperative,The seniors are supportive, The Campus is Completely Ragging free!

I'd just like to say that the only reason why NIT Jalandhar, isn't well known is that it hasn't been marketed well, Our Clubs haven't been very active on Social media, but that is changing very rapidly, we're trying to show the world what we are and what we do here at NIT Jalandhar to make you too Fall in love with our College!

Awesome college infrastructure having all the necessary departments and practical labs . Well maintained college Central library and neat and clean rooms wifi facilities in hostel but they are not good . Smart TVs are also provide but alas I leave it when they are provided.

Not too good but some faculty try and make this situation better . Also the percentage of girls in the department increases this proves us better . Our curriculum updated but in my branch it not help us practically in our engineering .

Placement are good in core companies but it is far more better in non core companies such as Allen ,resonance etc. The core companies such as L&T provide us an average package of 7.5 lakh . The placement process is easy .

It is good at our time because we are not charged too much for our curriculum . Also the hostel charges are 21000 only and the quality of food is also good because the strength of students are not much .

Awesome campus life having all the required facilities no more tension for placement because it's easy to get placed in NITs also we have gym or sports ground for physical fitness we used to play cricket and other social activities
