Infrastructure wise, one of the best NITs. Has good labs, classrooms, sport facilities, library,etc. Has a swimming pool, also decent hostels. Sports facilities include football grounds, cricket ground, gym,etc. Library is one of a kind with huge collection of books.

Academics is good, but teaching methodology seems slightly outdated. Standard reading from the slides is not what one expects at this prestigious college. Sometimes, the teachers lack enthusiasm in their subject.

Placements are decent. CSE if brilliant, obviously. Many core companies visit as well. Apart from this several financial/analytics companies visit which are open for all branches. The training and placement cell does work hard.

Government subsidised college, obviously cheaper than private colleges.

Campus life depends not just on the great infrastructure, but the friends that you make. So far I've met some cool people who are all going to do great things in life.

Can't go wrong with this college. Definitely a top NIT.

The infrastructure is quite good here.NIT Rourkela is a huge campus and in terms of facilities has a lot of offer many branch departments are well developed and have spacious classrooms, labs with good ventilation, air conditioned library and good wifi connection.

I studying b.tech mechanical engineering because in my childhood I was interested in automobiles designing. The course curriculum is student-friendly but the time table of the courses is very rigid you can't even take leave for 6 days in a semester. Mainly blackboard teaching is done by the faculty members here,which is the best teaching method. Video lectures are also taken. The teachers are well qualified and the curriculum is very useful in every aspect.

NIT Rourkela provides pretty decent placements. The package offered are high compared to other private engineering colleges. The highest package was offered by PSUs,BPCL around 12 LPA while the average package remained at 5.5 LPA and the lowest was 3.8 LPA.

Here campus life good. Good labs and workshop is there . Religion not major problem. All students are good friends and respect religion of other students. No political issues are allowed we have a very strict administration and the ultimate decision is taken by the Senate . Labs are well equipped with instruments.

College infrastructure is one of the major reason choosing NIT,Rourkela over other colleges. The campus have great sport facilities and swimming pool. The classrooms are quite spacious and well maintained. The campus have a good green environment.

Academics is maintained to be at par with other top colleges in India. In first year every teacher is teaching us quite good and helping us by proving pdfs. They are quite friendly and solve any doubts we ask.

Placement in NIT rourkela is improving every year. The highest placement is usually grabbed by CSE student. There are no restrictions generally in placement on the basis of branch. The percentage of student placed is always quite high.

Yes it is value for money. It cost around 2 lakh per year from a general student. It is worth is cause the infrastructure and academics we get in return is very good. The hostel is well maintained. The facilities we are able to use makes the fees more worth.

Campus life is a major factor for student for choosing NIT Rourkela. It have great sports facilities and food outlets. Students can engage in many club activities. There are many clubs engaging in various field of interests. The teacher and support staff are quite friendly.

In terms of infrastructure NITR is one of the biggest colleges in India. There are 7 boys hostels and 2 girls hostel with well maintained gyms and sports complexes. There are well equipped labs for all departments. NITR has a awesome swimming pool and a big library .Now coming to food which is generally a big issue for many hostels in other institutions but if you are a student of NITR then surely you r going to have an upper hand in the food part especially if u are a non-veggie

I am currently in the electronics and instrumentation engineering branch as, I was always fascinated by electronics so i wanted a seat in ECE but unfortunately i couldn't make into it so i got an seat in EI which is almost equal to ECE so i went for it. ya, since I am a fresher i dont know much about the course curriculum but the teachers in our first sem vere quite decent but some were a bit pedagogue type. But, its ok bcz always we cant expect the best for us

Being among the top engineering institutes of the country students from all parts of our country come here to study its like a battle of brains and the institute gives us an opportunity to learn from seniors and teachers. placement is a much important factor. Let me give u a brief insight and in the year 2020 highest package was 42lpa and many other seniors grabbed high packages. Many top companies come here for placements and there are excellent opportunities for all to bag a high package.

our course is costs around 1.2lakhs per semester if you are a general category candidate. All of the NIT's and IIT's have almost same fees but the facilities and food is worth the money we paid for it .

see campus life is a very vast thing it depends on your nature your friend circle which will play a vital role in making ur college life memorable. Coming to teachers and staff part its overally, good but u know there are always some strict teachers who are there to spoil the fun. Same is the situation here

NIT ROURKELA Has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels all are well furnished and maintained. All the necessary equipments are there such as wifi and smart boards. Their is well maintained hygiene and cleanliness at the mess.

I m pursuing Electrical Engineering from NIT ROURKELA . The quality of teaching is really awesome. Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. I think this is one of the best institutes to pursue this course. Whatever we are studying and our teacher are teaching makes me job ready.

The students whose academics had been awesome are guaranteed to get some kind of placement. Approximately 80% students get placed every year. The placement process is quite easy as the professors are very supportive.

The cost per year is around 2.5 lakh. There are even scholarships which can make your cost per year even lesser. And this institute even follows fee weavers system which can help you out with the cost per year. Money doesn't matter if it is worth giving and NIT ROURKELA follows it. So I feel that I am getting my money's worth.

The college campus is really very huge and has all the necessary facilities. The hostels are even very awesome. There are small rooms but are very clean and maintained. A good care is taken of sanitation. Any person coming to this college won't have any kind of clumsiness. The teachers , students and support staff are very understanding. The location is even good and travelling to anywhere from Rourkela won't be of any problem for anyone.

Overall its a very great college and pursuing any course from this college is a golden opportunity.

The campus has pretty good buildings equipped with state of the art machines and equipments where we carryout our experiments.Their are many beautiful buildings which are completely worth admiring. Completely worth it.

Currently I am in first year and from my experience I can proudly say that the teaching is brilliant and cooperative also. Even in online mode their is no problem in understanding the concepts. This is the perfect place out of all the IITs and nits if you want a complete hold of concepts.

The placement is very good at this institute with highest package of 45lpa of CSE branch and an average package of 8 lpa. In my branch the percentage of placement is 95 percent as many guys opt out of this process as they want to opt for higher studies.

The cost for a semester for general guys is 1 lakh but the facilities it provides is completely worth it.

The campus life is totally colorful and guys will enjoy.

Yes, national institute of technology Rourkela has all the necessary equipments infrastructure and facilities ...we have LAN port in our hall of residence aka hostel ..and wifi in labs....the mess food is also good...there are sports facilities and grounds.....the lecture halls are also a college life experience thing...the rooms are clean and good....there are laundry rooms for every hostel..the campus life is amazing

Studying btech electrical engineering.Electrical brach being a core subject interests me.All the professors are really good ...and being in freshman the professors are so friendly and cool.....and they definitely will help you.The curriculum does look updated....Of course what we study and the practical skills we get in workshop practice is obviously really useful

Placement is good....and ofcourse the highest package depends on the branch...according to latest placement data electrical engineering a average salary of 10 lpa..which is good enough for a start.....the cs obviously has the highest package....but it mostly depends on experience and internship..there are cool internship opportunities as well..

The total fee is around 1.2 lac for 1st semester and is around 1 lac per semester. Yes of course the facilities provided to us is definitely worth it...our campus is spread around more than 500 acres...academic facilities like libraries and computer lab and workshop all are quite good...

The college has counselling facilities open for all the students...the professors are quite helpful...the SAC which the student activity centre is the most colourful building in the campus....we have more than 50 clubs .....the connectivity is a little problem...but the campus is quite safe...there is a hospital and chemist inside the campus..the emergency cases are always taken to the hospital in city..

My college NIT Rourkela , is one of the top most institute of our country. My college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities which should be there in a tier 1 college. Cleanliness is given the top priority in our campus. All the hostels , classrooms , are well maintained and hygienic.

I am a studying Electronics and Instrumentation in NIT Rourkela . I always wanted to learn about electric circuits and machines and to know abut complex mechanisms in an electronic a gadget. The teaching faculties are very friendly and are always ready to solve your queries .

Placements stats are also awesome of my college . Average package of my department is approx. 11 lakh per annum , which is definitely great. the highest package was of CS branch which was 42 lakh per annum .

So far my experience in NIT Rourkela has been great . The facilities which the college provides definitely worth the fees which I have paid .

Campus life is the most important part of an student . The campus size of NIT Rourkela is too large . It takes few months to explore every part of the college. The college schedule is tight and we have compulsory attendance factor . But when we have free time we have a lot places to chill out .

I am studying the b.tech in this college, I it is the one of the best nit in all nits college, as I was found that the college has a good proffsers so yes this college give the best quality of education and it is the one of the best choice and the quality of teaching is too good and the professors are good with students as the friends is aslo help in learning in this institution we have a great opportunity for the group change and minor branches also provide to us

The placement is too good In the college, that why I selected this college the average salary of the electrical engineering is 9.5 lakhs the college average package is 8.4. Lakhs andthe b.trch has nearly 9-10 lakhs so the college is good at placement so this college gives us opportunity we can attend the it company if we know well in programs any branch person can get the Highest package and the highest domestic package of the college is 43.5 lakhs

It is the best college for low cost as my fees is less than a lakhs for year I think all the college nad other universities has nearly 2-3 lakhs of tution fees so the education is stress free and we have a lot of time to do work in this institution there is library which has more than 1.5 lakhs of books so we can learn from there also

The campus life is too good it is one of the Biggest nit all of the nits which nearly 800 acers above and one side. Of the college is covered with hills which is to good to see and the college is full of the greenery and full of tress and it ls the one of the biggest college the college has so many cultural program so it is good

The overall rating of the college is good, I was prefer this college this is one of the best which nit which competitive more than the IITs this college has good reviews and the placement is also too good so it good and this college is one of the best college at all institute and this college there is no ragging the college

YES,OUR COLLEGE HAVE ALL NECESSARY INFRASTUCTURE ,FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT LIKE LIBRARY,HOSTEL,SPORTS COMPLEX,LABS,CAFETERIA,GYM,HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL FACILITIES,WIFI CAMPUS ,AUDITORIUM ,CONVINIENCE STORE,WIFI CAMPUS,etc. WE HAVE WELL MAINTAINED CLASSROOM AND LABORATORIES WITH GOOD EQUIPMENTS AND FACILITIES.THE LIBRARIES HAVE OVER MORE THAN 60000 VOLUMES,1400 JOUNALS AND 700 CDS AND VIDEO CASSETTES.ASLO,THE WIFI SYSTEM IS IN WELL MAINTAINED CONDITION AND SPACES ARE CLEAN AND THE FOOD IS HYGIENIC.

I AM STUDING IN MECHANICAL BRANCH AND I AM MUCH SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF TEACHING AND THE CURRICULUM FOLLOWED HERE.THE TEACHERS ARE WELL INTERACTING AND HELPFUL IN OUR STUDY.TALKING ON THE CURRICULUM ,IT IS WELL UPDATED AND ALSO INCLUDES ALL RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD.AND OBVIOUSLY IT IS MAKING US JOB READY.

OUR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS ARE VERY GOOD.ALMOST EVERY STUDENT WERE PROVIDED ATLEAST ONE JOB AT THE END OF THEIR GRADUATION.ALSO.THERE IS GOOD FACILITIES FOR HIGHER STUDY AND RESEARCH PURPOSE.FOR THE AVERAGE SALARY OFFERED IS MOSTLY 15 TO 20 LAKHS PER ANNUM AND THE PLACEMENT PROCESS IS EASY AND PLEASANT ASC FOR MY BELIEF.
