The campus of NITS is full of greenery and clean.It has numerous lake . The classrooms has projectors and laboratories are well equipped and maintained. We have all the basic sports facilities in the college.

The academics of NITS is good . Professors are highly qualified and technically good ones.The curriculum of the college is however updated and include all the research developments of the respective educational fields.

The placement quality of NITS is good.The ratio of placed students is more than 90 percent.The companies that approaches the college are Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro,PSUs etc.During the COVID-19 the placements was reduced now it is increased.

The NITS comprises of more than 610 acres which includes 20+lakes and greenery. The classrooms are well maintained and includes all the necessary facilities.The NITS has the largest digital library and the campus has 2 sports complexes. Hostels are good and well maintained.

The quality of teaching in the NITS campus is outstanding.I really liked the teaching of the professors and they are very helpful in solving my problems. The curriculum is updated every year and includes all the newly developments in the course.

During my time , the placements was more than average.But over the years, the no of placed students has increased to approx 90 percent which is really good. The companies that offers the placements are Amazon,Microsoft,PSUs, Wipro etc.

NITS includes all the basic infrastructure and laboratory facilities.The Classrooms has projectors and the seminors halls also has the projectors .There were separate hostels for both the btech and mtech programs.Our college has the 2 sports complex and 2 playgrounds. Hostels are well maintained and hygenic.

I am currently a final year Mtech student.The quality of teaching is good and the professors are helping .They clear all our doubts and also try to solve our problems . The curriculum is updated and hence it includes all the important developments in the respective fields.

The placement quality of NITS is good . The placements for the mtech students is increasing day by day. The training and placement cell of NITS is good enough to bring a good amount of offers for both the btech and mtech students.

I am currently in my second year of the Electrical Department. Our professors provide valuable assistance, although there is room for curriculum enhancement. The current curriculum, while solid, leans towards theoretical aspects and requires updates to incorporate recent developments. Despite this, the overall learning experience is positive, fostering foundational knowledge in the electrical field.

The placement scenario at our institution demonstrates a consistent upward trend in quality. A notable 89.40% of students secured placements, with the Computer Science and Engineering department achieving the highest package of 80 LPA. The average package stood at 14.39 LPA, reflecting a positive trajectory. The placement process was smooth, and the college provided valuable support throughout.

The campus is aesthetically pleasing with abundant greenery, offering excellent sports and academic facilities. Engaging extracurricular activities enhance the overall experience. The faculty is supportive and motivational. Located in a secure environment, the campus is equipped with constant security measures to ensure safety and handle emergencies effectively.

My current experience at NIT Silchar is exceptionally positive, fostering a sense of optimism for my future. The enriching academic environment, successful placements, and vibrant campus life make it a compelling choice. Classes of 1st and 2nd-year B.Tech students are held in the old gallery, which remains overcrowded when all the students attend the course. For 3rd and 4th year students, classes are stored in the new Gallery, which has better capacity than the old one.

Like all other NITs and IITs, you will get some professors with whom you will resonate while not with others. If you connect well with seniors and faculties, you may get various co-curricular opportunities (Like research, etc.)

The campus is almost ragging-free. The anti-ragging committee is quite strict here.

Overall, you will learn many things here and collaborate with young talents who come here from various parts of our country.

NITS has the campus area of more than 610 acres with all the essential equipments and facilities . We have two sport centres which are well maintained and two sports ground.We have the asia's second largest digital library.Hostela are well maintained but the wifi are not stable.

The quality of teaching is excellent . The curriculum is updated and has included all the recent developments . The professors of the NITS are very helpful in solving the problems of the students.It also took the students to the various field visits for their practical knowledge.

More than 90 percent of the students were placed in the year 2023. It is one of the great year in which the placements was good. The companies that came to our college are - Amazon,Microsoft,Wipro,Adobe,Infosys,Tata groups,PSUs and many more. The ratio of IT jobs is more than the core jobs.

The infrastructure of college is not so good but you can manage there are separate classes for both seniors and juniors equipments in laboratory is not properly working all the time you have to manage.

Currently I am studying in first year of Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering branch. Here some professors are very good and of helping nature but some are just here to give you tension you need to give attention

Currently I am in first year so I can't tell you about placement and internship but our seniors are saying here placements are good if you will keep your cgpa decent and give little attention to studies the you will be placed

Yeah it is a nit a college of national importance therefore it has a value but here fee to comfort is not good too many fee is there put service is not good at all no proper system for games and fun.

The campus of National Institute Of Technology Silchar is of around 625 acres soo you can expect a good campus life if you have good friends the surly you will get a good collection of memories with them.

Overall the college worth it every college have pros and cons if you are thinking that IITs are perfect then you are wrong dude I have friends in IIT to they are also facing similar type of problem so don't worry.

NIT Silchar has all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment that are required for any national level college. Although some equipments are missing but overall it never feels to not have those equipments.Classes are open and have a good ventilation. Also food is not that hygienic , not as your home food but decent hygiene is maintained throughout campus.Some hostels has better food compared to other but it totally depends on your hostel.Note that your hostel will change yearly.

I am studying Electrical Engineering and I choose it because it gives me a chance to explore both core and IT sector . Although it is said to e toughest branch but I find it easy as compared to Electronics subject but still it's completely my point of view. Curriculum is obviously not up to date but we are enginners learn what and how to learn .

Quality of placement is decent and growing throughout years.But due to recession there is a downfall in graph but still considering all of this and having an average package of 13LPA for electrical engineering is well and good for now.

My course costs 1.6L per year .I feel that my money paid here is all worth because it teaches me a lot of things not only academic, extra curriculum as well like communication skills and also it gives me exposure to what I should do in order to achieve my goals.

College campus is decent . I will say it lacks at some points but still it overall fulfils the campus life ,also what would you expect from such a big campus . Campus is safe for girls and there are no issues of safety. Location is not that good.

Our college infrastructure not so good, in boys hostel in which room is for two person three are alloted, wifi is given on every floor but internet speed is like streaming 360p video with buffering. Our college have a digital library, in which each semester students can issue books.Food quality is average in our hostels.

I'm currently studying Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering , because its a good branch after CS, EC in this college. The quality of teaching is not so good, professors come and read ppt or thier notes and go like other colleges.

Overall placements of our college is 90%, The highest salary package offered was 80LPA, to Computer Science student. The average salary offered was 12-13 LPA. Yes ,the placement process was easy here, as our college has TNP(Training and placement cell), which make it easy for students.

Our course cost approximately 1.12 lac per semester generally including tution and hostel fees, in which tution fees is null for SC/ST students.Yeah , as its a government college which has more value than any other private colleges.Our money worth it, if we do B-Tech in any other private college will cost approximately 5 lacs per year.

Our college campus, its best features is its green environment, it has more than 20 lakes and some lakes are so beautiful .Students can engage in many activities including sports like cricket, football, etc. Our campus looks more beautiful when its raining. As its located at higher place in Silchar there is no fear of flood. As here thunderstrikes often takes place .

Firstly our college has all the basic facilities and equipments .We have two playground one is for cricket and other is for football.We have a sports complex which has badminton court , gym , kho-kho ground and kabaddi. We have an another sports complex which includes badminton and table tennis and also has a tennis court. We have the largest digital library other than nits,iits,gftis.But our hostels are decent .

The Quality of placements in NITS is good . The percentage of placed students is increasing over the years. In 2023, the highest salary package offered is 80 LPA. If we have the skills then we can crack the good salary package offered.
