NIT SILCHAR is one of the top 10 nits of India.The college infrastructure includes the basic necessities and facilites for the welfare of the student.The college comprises of two sports facilities,one Asias largest digital library and boys hostel and 5 girls hostel.

I am in the second year of the electrical department of the college.From my one year experience, the professors are helpful and downward to earth people.The professors are very good in nature and they helped me a lot in my studies.

The placements of the college is really good.It is one of the most prestigious nits of India.Approximately 90 perecnt of the students were placed in the year 2023.This year also most of the students were placed in the good companies.

We will say that Infrastructure is good. Engaging extracurricular activities enhance the overall experience. The faculty is supportive and motivational.overall It can be considered well in all the aspects.

I am currently in my second year of the ECE Department. Our professors provide valuable assistance, although there is room for curriculum enhancement. The current curriculum, leans towards theoretical aspects and requires updates to incorporate recent developments. Despite this, the overall learning experience is positive, fostering foundational knowledge in the electronics field.

A notable 89.40% of students secured placements, with the Computer Science and Engineering department achieving the highest package of 80 LPA. There is a strict schedule in the college But with time it will be manageable.The quality of teaching of the professors are good. It syllabus includes all the recent developmnents in the respective fields.

The placement of the college is outstanding.APPROXIMATELY 90 percent of the college students were placed in the placements with a good amount of package. The highest package was 80LPA secured by a CSE Btech student .

NITS includes all the basic infrastructure and laboratory facilities.The Classrooms has projectors and the seminors halls also has the projectors .There were separate hostels for both the btech and mtech programs.Our college has the 2 sports complex and 2 playgrounds. Hostels are well maintained and hygenic.

I am currently a final year Mtech student.The quality of teaching is good and the professors are helping .They clear all our doubts and also try to solve our problems . The curriculum is updated and hence it includes all the important developments in the respective fields.

Classes of 1st and 2nd-year B.Tech students are held in the old gallery, which remains overcrowded when all the students attend the course. For 3rd and 4th year students, classes are stored in the new Gallery, which has better capacity than the old one.

Like all other NITs and IITs, you will get some professors with whom you will resonate while not with others. If you connect well with seniors and faculties, you may get various co-curricular opportunities (Like research, etc.)

The campus is almost ragging-free. The anti-ragging committee is quite strict here.

Overall, you will learn many things here and collaborate with young talents who come here from various parts of our country.

NITS has the campus area of more than 610 acres with all the essential equipments and facilities . We have two sport centres which are well maintained and two sports ground.We have the asia's second largest digital library.Hostela are well maintained but the wifi are not stable.

The quality of teaching is excellent . The curriculum is updated and has included all the recent developments . The professors of the NITS are very helpful in solving the problems of the students.It also took the students to the various field visits for their practical knowledge.

More than 90 percent of the students were placed in the year 2023. It is one of the great year in which the placements was good. The companies that came to our college are - Amazon,Microsoft,Wipro,Adobe,Infosys,Tata groups,PSUs and many more. The ratio of IT jobs is more than the core jobs.

The infrastructure of college is not so good but you can manage there are separate classes for both seniors and juniors equipments in laboratory is not properly working all the time you have to manage.

Currently I am studying in first year of Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering branch. Here some professors are very good and of helping nature but some are just here to give you tension you need to give attention

Currently I am in first year so I can't tell you about placement and internship but our seniors are saying here placements are good if you will keep your cgpa decent and give little attention to studies the you will be placed

Yeah it is a nit a college of national importance therefore it has a value but here fee to comfort is not good too many fee is there put service is not good at all no proper system for games and fun.

The campus of National Institute Of Technology Silchar is of around 625 acres soo you can expect a good campus life if you have good friends the surly you will get a good collection of memories with them.

Overall the college worth it every college have pros and cons if you are thinking that IITs are perfect then you are wrong dude I have friends in IIT to they are also facing similar type of problem so don't worry.
