The college campus consists of many lakes along with all the essential equipments and laboraties for the classes of students in the college. The classrooms have projectors which helps a lot to the students.

The academics of the electrical department is an average.The professors are good at their explaination of the topics and they are very punctual in nature.The curriculum is quite interesting and I really liked the subjects.

The placements of the NITS is more than average i.e good.More than 89 percent of our department were placed last year in the top level companies that had visited our college .The procedure was not so easy.

The college infrastructure of the NITS is really good which includes all the basic and essential facilities needed for the students. The college sports facilities are also well maintained and clean in nature

Currently I am doing btech in the second year of the mechanical department .The professors are polite in nature and they are very helpful in guiding the mechanical problems if i struck in any of the problems.

The placements of the mechanical department is good only .More than 85 percent were placed in the campus placements of the college .The highest paid salary of the mechanical department is approx 40 lpa.

The campus homes all the necessary infrastructure but since the college is an old one, some equipments need repairs and replacement. Classrooms are open and airy,but are less spacious. The library is Asia's largest digital library. The laboratories are with all up to date equipments. There is wifi facilities in the whole college, but in hostels only LAN is available. There are 4 girls hostel in the college and 9 boys hostel. Infrastructure is old but all necessary facilities are there. Cleanliness and hygiene is well maintained.

I am a BTech 2nd year student currently pursuing Electronics and Communication engineering. The curriculum is well organized and the professors here are very qualified and are very helpful. The curriculum includes all the recent developments in the fields. The core companies which visit the college are always very satisfied and a large percentage of students get placed every year.

You can find the placement statistics of the college on the college website, the placement nears 90-95% in the college with an average package of 14.39 LPA in the year of 2023. Most of the well known tech and core companies visit the college every year and the no of job offers often exceeds the number of students.

The fee that they charge is totally worth it, as once you're in the college and working on yourself a nice package awaits you at the end of 4 years.

The campus life is amazing with a campus close to nature extending to an area of 650 acres and 22 lakes. The peace and tranquility of the place is so calming. There are events all round the year and the college culture here is amazing. Every festival is celebrated with full enthusiasm, even the proffesors celebrate the festivals with us. There is also a whole building dedicated to sports and activities. The gym here is also equipped with the all the necessary equipment. It is an open campus so security is sometimes an issue but overall it's good.

The Nit Silchar has the Asia's second largest digital library and also has the two sports complex along the respective playground for different sports for the students.They are well maintained and hygenic in nature.

I am currently in the 2nd year of the electronic and communication department of the college.The professors of the department are helpful and kind in nature and they are not that much strict but okies only.

The highest package salary of the electronic and communication department students is 55lpa along with more than 92 percent were placed in the top companies.The placement scene is good only for ece department.

The Nit Silchar.campus is very hygenic and greenery in nature.It comprises of more than 10 lakes in the campus along with equipment needed for the students for their development and growth environment.

I am currently in the 2nd year of the electrical department which is the toughest branch of the college.Professors are very strict in the 75 percent attendance criteria for the students but they are polite in nature.

The overall placement secanrio of the Nit Silchar is more than 90 percent along with the percentage of the electrical department is 88 percent.The highest lpa was 55lpa of the electrical department of the college.

The Campus consists of green forests and more than 10 lakes which also includes all the basic necessities needed for the welfare of the students.The hostel are hygenic and they are well maintained in nature.

The placement of the college is very good and more than 90 percent of the students were placed in the college placement along with the highest package salary is 80lpa.It is the one of the greatest year.

The Nit Silchar campus is one of the beautiful campus of all the nits in India with full of green forests and lakes.The campus includes hostels, library,sports facilities for the welfare of the students

The placement of the college is good.The percentage of the electrical department is more than 90 percent with highest package of 55lpa.The average package of the student in electrical department is 15-20lpa.

The NITS Campus is consists of green forests and lakes and also includes all the basic facilities needed for the development of the students.The wifi facilities in the hostels are good only but some time it may be unstable.

I am currently in the 2nd year of the electrical department.It is one of the toughest branch of the college.Teachers are strict and punctual in their academic education but they are very helpful in solving doubts.

The placement of the electrical department is really good.The highest package salary of the electrical department is 55lpa with more 88 percentage students placed in the placement process.It was not a pleasant process.

The Campus of the college is really good and clean.It consists of green leaves,forests and lakes.The hostels are well maintained and hygenic for the welfare of the students.The college has all the basic facilities.

I am currently in the second year of the the electronics and telecommunication department.The teachers of the department are really good and helpful and kind in nature.The curriculum is also basic and includes all the basic education.

The placements scenery in the current year is good only.Due to the recession period their is fall in the placement of the college.Last year it was a good placements I e 90 percent were placed in the campus placement.

Not so good infrastructure, In boys hostel there is no hygiene , in two seater room three are boys are allotted, In mess average quality food is served.There is football playground and cricket ground.

I'm currently studying in 2nd year, 4th sem in electronics and Instrumentation engineering, there is academic pressure on students, which can be handled with time, some teachers are supportive and guides us in our college life.

The college placement of the college is really good.In this year also most of the students were placed in the top companies and last year approx 90 percent of the students were placed in the companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys etc.
