It has the indias largest lecture hall, hostels are quite good, wifi network will be through out the college, equipment is also good , classrooms are very vast, in classrooms you will have two screens

Teaching will be good, and you will get understand more on your tutorial classes. Tutorial classes, labs are more . You will get more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge since it's important for anyone .

Here there is a placement of highest 38 lakhs in cse, electronics branch, whereas metallurgy branch has its position next to it.mechanical branch has a highest package of 12lakhs per annum . Average will be 6

Per year it costs me approx 96,000 including hostel, college fees everything.(due to EWS).for general people it will be 2.24 per annum

Cse and Ece students are placed 100% with minimum package of around RS 8 lakh and maximum package of around 40 lakh other branches students are also placed but in IT companies. Most of its alumni are successful entrepreneurs and held various positions in government services.

Mnit is oldest nit as it is middle of city. Best high tech computer labs with high speed Internet connection, world class library, latest and updated equipment equipped laboratory and best one a new dedicated miic for startup, thus best nit in India.

MNIT provides a good infrastructure. Lecture hall complex 'VLTC' is claimed to be Asia's largest Lecture Hall Complex. Laboratories are not very good as it has older equipments. Central library provides very good resources and environment. It has a single football ground which is also used for cricket,kabaddi and athletics. There are three volleyball courts,two badminton courts,three lawn tennis courts but no swimming pool :( . Hostels are old.Some of them need to be renovated.

I have opted for civil engineering. Although, I am in my second semester so I can't tell much about my stream as we learn common subjects in first year. I am not much satisfied with the curriculum. More projects and practical knowledge should be given. Students and professors (not all) are mainly concerned for exams and study according. We didn't have any industrial visits in our first year and neither have i heard from my seniors of Civil branch regarding industria visits.

A lot of companies come and offer jobs but they are mainly offer jobs in non core. Placements for CSE,ECE,Meta and chemical are good. Average placements are 6-7 lpa for core branches. Scenario for placements is good but it needs to be improved. On campus internships should be made better.

MNIT is quite expensive than other NITs. It costs me about 70K for my academics and around 1.2 lacs per sem including food and accommodation(for general category student). Food quality and variety should be improved(atleast we should feel happy earing that food). We should be provided more facilities. Tinkering labs should be introduced.
