The infrastructure's very good with all the facilities, the classrooms have been well designed, library is good, sports facilities are amazing and hostels are great with the corridoors and washrooms being cleaned daily. Food is average with importance being given to perfet diet.
I am an undergraduate student persuing Metallurgical and materials engineering.I chose it because I had great interest in material research also the department gives you many opportunities and the professors are helpful too. The curriculum is not up to date but it includes the basics but the webinars and talks organized by department keep us well informed about the latest technologies.
The placement session depends on placement coordinator to much extent . I haven't given an interview yet but yess college will always be your support system. Highest package offered last year was 17 L/p.a. for my department. And the average package was 8L/p.a.
yearly it costs me around 2.5 L .
Campus life are always the best. You'll never regreat having one. Everyone's very supportive . The campus is safe with its own dispensary and bank.
MNIT has the best infra as compared to its counterparts. it has an amazing location, in the centre of the city which keeps you connected in all ways(rail, road and air). the lecture halls are hygienic and well maintained.
academics are good since we are made ready to deal with any problem that requires intellect. we are trained to handle pressure and responsibilities. Teachers are helpful and hardworking. one can be a part of some great research work being done by the faculty
some of the best companies like DeShaw, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, etc, visit our campus for placements and internships. nearly most of the students get placed. students also bag off-campus placements in companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, and any of the tech giants one can think of.
the fee is reasonable, like all the govt. colleges.
the campus has its perks and perks. it's beautifully built and well connected .
joining this college was the best decision I made since I could share a place with the best minds in the country!
The classrooms have projectors, are air-conditioned and spacious. The labs have all the necessary equipment. Library has everything course related and a little literature section too. Hostels are clean and we'll maintained, food in the mess is okayish, the plates aren't always clean.
I'm studying metallurgical and materials engineering, the curriculum is updated and the professors try to provide the latest information in the field. Morning classes aren't that great. The course is well structured.
Most people get placed. Mostly in non core branches. 90%+ students get placed every year and almost everyone without a backlog.. The professors are helpful and guide you well through the process. The college is supportive.
Yes, it's well worth it
Girls have to get back to hostels before 10 pm and this will prevent them to access the computer center at night hours. The campus is safe.
The location is good, in the center of city.
MNIT Jaipur has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment, in-classroom we have projectors, in libraries and hostels we have wifi. In the first year, we got 2 seater room and from 2nd year single-seater room is provided
I'm am studying B- tech in chemical engineering branch and quality of education is quite good, MNIT Jaipur is updating its curriculum time to time and various courses are offered in this college like B tech, Mtech, MSc, PhD, architecture etc
In MNIT Jaipur there are 73 % placements and in my branch, there is 63% placement last year and the average package is 8LPA and highest package offered is 38 LPA. In general, the highest package goes to computer s science and engineering branch but last year it goes to chemical engineering
college fee depends on your parental income and hostel fee is same for all
college life is very amazing here in MNIT and it is situated in the city
A great and reputed institution
Yes ,institute has well developed infrastructure, facilities and well equipped. Well equipped classrooms, properly maintained laboratories, large digital library containing books of almost all interests.
I am pursuing Chemical Engineering. Teaching as well as non teaching staff all are very polite and humble. Also the quality of education that is provided here is also worth the name of NIT. Curriculum is updated as required.
Talking about chemical engineering branch placement are good but not as great as other branches like cs, ece etc. Highest salary package always goes with computer science engineering branch. On Campus placements amd internships are doing good.
Seeing academic only it costs about 1.5 lakhs ( for general category students having family income >5 lakhs) per year. Yes it is worth it, if you make a most of it and get a decent placement offered.
Being the campus inside main city, as a majority of institutes are situated outside city ,we enjoy a lot, having dinners, hanging out anytime. Also Being a tourist place ,there are many places to explore.
Yes, my college has good infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Classroom are well equipped with projectors. But we don't have facility of mic in our classrooms which poses some problem to students sitting at the back.
I am currently pursuing btech in chemical engineering because I have interest in this branch. Yes, my curriculum is well- updated and includes all the recent developments in all the field. Quality of teaching is good.
Quality of placements for chemical Engineering branch has been good in the recent years. Core companies visit our College for recruitment. Average package is between 6-7 lakh. I haven't gone through the placement process yet.
Around 2 lakh.
My college gives grate exposure to students
As the name is , Malaviya National Institute of Technology, our college has fabulous infrastructure. It has biggest lecture theatre for our lecture classes, big and clean labs, computer centres, library and clean and airy hostel rooms. Mess food is also very good.
Quality of teaching is superior. We have experienced and dedicated group of professors. Their experience may help you to learn more about industrial relevance of the subjects. You can learn and practice in the labs simultaneously.
Placement ratio is also good and average package considering all branches is around 6-7lpa. Many big companies visit our campus for placements including Goldman Sachs, Mahindra, Bajaj, JPMorgan, Tata Steel and others.
All that money you give is worth the experience and knowledge you are going to gain in four years. Education fees is not very much and also you will not regret the money spent on mess food.
Campus Life is fun here. You can roam around with your friends in the campus and enjoy all the fests including cultural, technical and sports from time to time. You surely will make good memories with the campus.
As we all aware of Asia's largest lecture theatre is in MNIT, apart from this it has decent library, canteen, computer centre, sport complex, open air theatre etc. 1 star is deducted because of the lab's equipment which are not upto mark.
Mostly teachers are cooperative and much professional attitude towards their teaching. Curriculum is update also variousa co curricular activities is there. Acc to me in any clg you have to study your own, clg does matter in providing the path which i think MNIT do.
Placements are not good in core chemical. There are non core placment but in core there is tough fight. Especially now due to corona, situation becomes more complex. For CSE and electronics branch the placement statics is quite good and fair.
Very very good environment. Campus life is awesome. We have good hostel. Mnit is in the middle of city.
Infrastructure of MNIT is very good .It has Aisa's largest lecture hall which is very well equipped with proper projecters. Computer center is also there where u can go 24*7.Canteens are also here.Hostels are good having good internet connection.
Qualityof education is good .Mnit has very good quality of teaching faculties who are very supportive and skilled.Labs are also very good. Both theoretical and practical aspects taken in account that leads to overall development of student.
Placement ratio is good here. The average package is 6-8 lac per annum.A good number of companies come here for internship and placement. companies start taking exams from 5semester and offer PPO. Highest package from our college is 40 lakh
Life in mnit is very good and safe .You can hangout with your friends in evening in campus .As it is near to Gt and WTP so you can go there.U can also enjoy the cultural nights during cultural or technical fests.
It is a college of National importance and therefore College has very good infrastructure. VLTC which is our lecture theatre complex is one of its kind and is among largest lecture complex in asia. There are 12 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel all of them are equipped by wifi and LAN. There is also a Computer Center in which student can access very fast speed internet. Living spaces are clean.
Currently pursuing Electrical Engineering and teaching techniques are good compared to most of indian colleges. Professors try to update syllabus but it may vary from branch to branch. Theoretically include recent developments and try to implement practically also.
Placement are actually good but can not be said very good as some branches like CSE and ECE are getting good percentage of placement with decent package while others have kind of average salaries. Yes placement process is easy for students.
As a general candidate from middle class family fees is quite a difficult factor for parents but college provide 2/3rd remission in tution fee for general candidates whose parents income is less than 5 lakhs per annum.Yes paying money for getting a degree from NIT makes it worthy.
College life is very good. Students enjoy living in college. Many fests are conducted in college campus like cultural fest, tech fest, sports fest which entertain students time to time. Hostel canteens remain open till 2 AM.
Hello Dear Student,
With a GATE CSE score of 503 (OBC-NCL) , admission to M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur is likely to be difficult, as recent OBC cutoff trends for CSE have generally been higher than 500. Careers360's expected 2026 cutoff places
