MNIT Jaipur has one of the best infrastructure and other needed facilities for its students and staff members. Internet is available for 24x7 in hostels and also in whole campus. It has a Computer Centre where you can use highly equipped PCs with a 100 mbps internet connection for your various uses. Mess food is quite hygienic and has an average taste. Shopping complex and all sports facilities are also available in MNIT Jaipur.
The course curriculum is up to date, and you also get practical exposure to get industry-ready. Labs are highly equipped, and for reserve and M. Tech scholars, labs are better than most of the IITs and other A+ colleges. We also have an innovation and incubation center where young minds can take their ideas and gets funded by the college for startups.
Placement is good. Above 70% of the students got placed in almost all branches and have a descent package too and the rest students choose their career differently like in Civil services, Govt. sector and entrepreneurships. MNIT Jaipur has a good Alumni network which helps students a lot for getting good placements and internships.
If someone got admission in MNIT Jaipur, then irrespective of their trades, all of its students feel grateful to be a part of MNIT and proudly caption themselves as MNITian.
As Jaipur is the bliss of pink colour our MNIT has it's own vibe. Yes, our college has all facilities with LAN connections in hostel rooms, sports complex, high-speed Wi-Fi & LAN equipped 24/7 computer centre etc. We have Asia's largest Lecture Theatre Complex where all the lectures were conducted. Newly built hostels are marvellous but the only backdrop is old hostels they should be managed rest everything is good.
Almost all the faculty have their own way of teaching students. But some teachers had mastered this art of teaching. Our curriculum is good but needs some updations in some areas. Most of the profs. are friendly.
Computer Science & Electronics students have very good placements. Even other branches are good but they have to be improved. All the statistics of campus placements are available at our college placement portal webpage - placements.mnit.ac.in or simply search for mnit placement portal.
All the fee-related data is available on our college website (mnit.ac.in). Compared to reserved candidates, un-reserved candidates have to pay more.
Campus life is amazing. MNIT Jaipur is close to the major of sightseeing places in Jaipur. There are a lot hang out places in & around the campus. Night walks, Campus fests and Cycling on roads are my favourites.
Our college have all necessary infrastructure and facilities. Our college have Asia's largest Lecture theatre with well and modern technology. All the classes are having facilities of white digital smart boards, wi-fi and central AC system. The whole campus is very clean and foods we get there are very hygienic.
Being a Institute of National Importance the teachers of our Institute are very knowledgeable and have done their studies from the premier Institutes of the country. The Curriculum is based on the today's requirement in the market. The quality of teaching is well except some teachers who are lazy.
The placements of our college is quite good. If you say about the top branches like CSE and ECE the placements are awesome. Both branches are having 100% placements. The highest salary package lies between 35-45 LPA. The average salary is about 8-9 LPA if you consider for whole Institute including lower branches.
The tution fee of the Institute is 62,500 per semester. Since the Institute is government college thus I feel the fees shouldn't be that much high. Otherwise it is cheaper than various private institutes. However our college also provides fee waiver according to your income basis. Also tution fee is free for SC/ST students.
I think campus life of our college is one of the best among all the Institutes in India. Our college is located in the center of the city. Airport and railway stations are in 5km circle radius. WTP (one of the largest malls in India) is just a km away from our campus. We have indoor court for badminton and table tennis. Also our college provides facility of well equipped gym. There is so much greenery in the campus which makes the place very serene.
Whatever a student require to make the college life happy and memorable, our Institute provide those things to the students. One thing I will say, if you will join MNIT you will fall in love with it and you will know why MNIT is My NIT.
My college Malaviya National Institute of Technology had all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It infact has largest lecture compkex in Asia! Campus and living space is beautiful and clean.
I am studying Materials and metallurgical engineering. The quality of teaching here is good. Our professors are all for the help of their students. Yes, the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
Students become eligible for placements from third year onwards. And the incampus placements are good and offer various opportunities. Around 85% of the students gets placed in well reputed companies.
I was personally extremely happy with the infrastructure facilities that we got at MNIT especially the sports section of all. MNIT has well built and maintained courts and grounds. But I think the basketball court can be improved a little.
I feel the curriculum is good enough to cover most of the important things but you need to read beyond on your own to excel and make yourself job-ready. Faculties are well qualified and supportive if you seek them for help and guidance.
About 80% of students from this department got placed with an average package of 6.58 LPA and highest package 12.93 LPA. But the number of core companies is 5-7, so students also get placed at non-core companies which are open to all branches like Goldman Sachs, Fractal Analytics, etc.
The best thing is the sports facilities where you are free to play and the canteens within the campus add to the fun. The only thing that disturbs me is the in-timings of the girls' hostel. There should be campus in-time, not hostel in-time.
When you really start enjoying what you got, it becomes the best thing that happened to you. Same is the MNIT campus for me. The pros outweigh the cons.
MNIT has all the necessary facilities for students. Infrastructure is very good and classrooms are very well maintained. Food available in canteens and hostel mess are very hygenic and suitable for students.
I am studying Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in MNIT , I have keen interest in this branch though it is research oriented. Teaching quality is good and I think curriculum must get updated as per some important entrance exams like GATE, etc. And I think there must be some improvement in this branch to encourage research oriented programmes.
Good Placements in MNIT especially in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering there is 100% placement in some reputed companies like Tata and Reliance etc. Average package of placement is approximate 6 to 8 lpa.
MNIT is the best college for Bachelor's Programme since it has best to best facilities in campus for students and have good Infrastructure, library and labs.
It is really good and it does provide all the necessary facilities. The hostels classrooms labs sports centres all are really hygienic and up to date with technology. All of these are well maintained and used by the students as well
I am studying Metallurgical and materials engineering. It was out of sheer interest that I chose this branch. The quality of teaching is really good. The department is up to date and the faculty are kept abreast with the recent developments
Quality of placement is also not so bad. Highest salary packages go upto 35+LPA for Computer science and Electronics and communication branches. average salary offered is aroun 7 LPA. The college is really supportive and helps in providing best placement opportunities
My course per year nearly costs me 2 Lakhs, it seems a bit much but as a matter of fact it is really worth that amount. The quality of education both theoretical as well as practical is really good and worth each penny.
campus life will be the best phase of my life. The college being in the middle of the city is a big plus point.
It has been a great experience
Our college mnit jaipur according to infrastructure is one of the best engineering college in india. It has carbon zero buildings. Green campus, full on mahol baazi bhaiya, for sports everything is available. Classroom are full AC or may be duct , but computer centers are full to AC rooms and library also has AC rooms. Mess are less hygienic but ofc we are engineering college students we can manage it.
I am pursuing my degree in metallurgical and materials engineering. Quality of teaching is good, or it can be improved because some teacher's are just enjoying there govt salary without putting any efforts in teaching and putting all the things in there belly. But our college CS brach is too good there placement are always too high.
Placement of all the branches are good. But for my branch it's not that good. But our branch is good for doing some more things with our studies , we can explore more things as we have less pressure. But we are future of our Country. Percentage of students getting placed is upto 60%. Highest packages are of 40 lac and they are of CS branch.
My course cost me per year 2 lac 20k, its too high , but what can we do , the rules are such types only, my father is govt servant and his salary is just 7 lac and we are general and my fees is 2 lac 20k per year so we have to survive
Best feature of my college is that it's the best place to learn everything, but the worst thing is that college heads are not good or it can be that our dean is corrupt. But corruption is everywhere you know. But students are always friendly.
I would like to add that if it's your last attempt and you have option to join mnit then just join it , but if you attempts left than just prepare for one year more and get into iits. Mnit is just name nothing more happens here. Thank you for the day.
Our college has the best infrastructure among all the engineering colleges in the city. It has Asia's biggest lecture and theatre complex called VLTC for our lectures and tutorials class. Also it has one big open air theatre for cultural nights. It has all other necessary infrastructural facilities.
Our institute has a team of best and experienced Professors in all the departments. Some of them have industrial knowledge and work experience also. They teach you so humbly and you can learn too much from them .
Placement opportunities at our college are many. You have chances to apply for non-core industries, core industries and even for off-campus placements. Average placement package lies between 9 to 17 lpa depending on your branch.
Yes, the money you pay is worth all the academics/curricular , co-curricular and extra-curricular experience and learning you'll gain from here.
Campus life is very very good here. Our campus is clean and big. You'll find too many places to hang out in the campus and so many cultural nights to celebrate and stay late out of hostel :-) You will have zero dis-appointement with the life here.
Yes, the infrastructure is very good and every possu facilities and equipment are thses. Every class has projector, and other facilities. Library and sport complex in also available. Every facilities that are used in studying are available in the classroom. And they are used also as well as well maintained too.
As it's a NIT the quality of teaching should be good. Teachers teach us every thing required and the curriculum is also updated and it covers allmost every development in the fields. Yes the professor make us ready for jobs as well as higher studies.
Placement are good. About 90-95% eligible students get placement offers. Max salary offered was 40lakh and it's in CSE branch.Average salary offered is 7-8 lakh and yes the placement process is super easy. And the college is so supportive.
Its approx 1.6 lakh for my course per year. Yes, its on the pricier side but the college is in the center of city and facilities are also top notch. So it's fine.
Campus Life is beautiful and very exciting. Many cultural activities and sports activities are held throughout the year. Student tend to know their other interest than studies. Everyone in the campus is so supportive. Yes the campus location is very safe and yes it can handle emergencies.
The college is good, campus is good, placements are good and the people here are so supportive.
Hello Dear Student,
With a GATE CSE score of 503 (OBC-NCL) , admission to M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur is likely to be difficult, as recent OBC cutoff trends for CSE have generally been higher than 500. Careers360's expected 2026 cutoff places
Yes, based on her AIR of 3424 in General and 970 in OBC category in JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch), your daughter has a good chance of getting admission in Architecture to MNIT Jaipur under the OBC category. In previous years, the closing ranks for OBC category at MNIT Jaipur
Choosing between NIT Jaipur (ECE) and NIT Bhopal (CSE) depends on your interest and long-term goals, but here’s a balanced view:
If you’re interested in coding, software development, or IT roles , NIT Bhopal CSE is generally better, with higher placements and more career opportunities in the tech sector. On
