National Institute of Technology Jaipur , NITJ is one of the best colleges in India. This is a dream college to many students. This college have the biggest hostel in all over the country. The infrastrcuture and the facilities in the college so good. There are labs that are fully equipped, classrooms , hostels are neat , hygenic and clean and that depends on the maintanence by students too, WiFi is not so speed but it is optimum for a student life.
Academics are excellent in NITJ. Professors are good at teaching and they are friendly towards students. Seniors help juniors not only in academics but also other stuff. As I am CSE student , I felt that PSCP professors ( first years ) are not extraordinary and professors for second, third and fourth years are too good. I think we should not have labs until offline sem. What professors teach is okay to get a job , but to get good package they learn more stuff.
The quality of placement service somewhat different from other colleges our students in college get placed in most popular software jobs in TCS Wipro IBM and you don't have something like core side bada college keep motivating us to get job. From the above 60% aggregate students eligible for the campus interviews emotionally there is a package for starting 3 lakhs per annum to 12 lakhs per annum..
Yea it have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. Each branch has its separate lab and workshops. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, cameras, and speakers , air conditioners, wifi . We also have a very big library.q Sport facility is available and mess is also very clean
Studying Electrical engineering because I want to build my career in it. Yes the curriculum is well updated with latest resources. We can also do m tech if we want to get a job in government sector or want to get a good package.
College placement is quite average. The percentage of students placed in our branch is 70. I don't remember the exact package but i guess it's nearly 35 lakh per annum offered to a CSE guy. Yes the placement process is very transparent and easy.
The overall fee of the electric engineering is 11 lakh. Yes the fee is worthy if we compare it with the facilities we get.
Campus life is with full enjoyment. One will truly enjoy the life if he joins this college. You will get every facility here. Since it's one of the top NITs so the infrastructure is very good. Teachers are very helping nature. Seniors are good. This place is completely safe as it's a ragging free campus.
Infrastructure: classes are conducted in VLTC . Our college has one of the huge lecture theatre complexes in Asia. All classrooms are equipped with air conditioning facilities , and the quality of benches is very good . There are 6 elevators, but I suggest you not use it when raining . The department is provided with high - speed WI- FI facility . Computers are updated with the latest hardware (intel i7) and software (matlab, autoCAD, fusion 360, etc.)
Academics quality is very good here and professors are well -Professioned and humble . Recently our college has been ranked on the 35th Position among top 100 engineering colleges by NIRF ranking 2020, 2nd best among NIRF ranked colleges in rajasthan in 2020 and all India rank of 23 by the week among top engineering colleges in India.
Almost 90% of the students from the CSE department got placed with an average salary package of 14 LPA and the highest salary package of 30.85 LPA . Companies which offered internships here include D.E. shaw , JP Morgan , arcesium and Amazon . Approximately 30% of the students have been selected for Internships yet, and the process will continue
With all this opportunities and facilities our colleges is offering to the students , it is worth paying here for engineering courses . I would recommend this college to engineering aspirants in rajasthan .
Campus life is full of fun and fests ( cultural, technical and sports ). Mess food is above average , and the canteen is excellent . Sports facilities are above the mark .There's a medical dispensary on the campus, where you can visit whenever you want . An ambulance service is also available to transport patients to the other hospitals if he/she can't be treated inside the campus .
Best college in rajasthan for engineering
MNIT Jaipur has one of the best infrastructure and other needed facilities for its students and staff members. Internet is available for 24x7 in hostels and also in whole campus. It has a Computer Centre where you can use highly equipped PCs with a 100 mbps internet connection for your various uses. Mess food is quite hygienic and has an average taste. Shopping complex and all sports facilities are also available in MNIT Jaipur.
The course curriculum is up to date, and you also get practical exposure to get industry-ready. Labs are highly equipped, and for reserve and M. Tech scholars, labs are better than most of the IITs and other A+ colleges. We also have an innovation and incubation center where young minds can take their ideas and gets funded by the college for startups.
Placement is good. Above 70% of the students got placed in almost all branches and have a descent package too and the rest students choose their career differently like in Civil services, Govt. sector and entrepreneurships. MNIT Jaipur has a good Alumni network which helps students a lot for getting good placements and internships.
If someone got admission in MNIT Jaipur, then irrespective of their trades, all of its students feel grateful to be a part of MNIT and proudly caption themselves as MNITian.
As Jaipur is the bliss of pink colour our MNIT has it's own vibe. Yes, our college has all facilities with LAN connections in hostel rooms, sports complex, high-speed Wi-Fi & LAN equipped 24/7 computer centre etc. We have Asia's largest Lecture Theatre Complex where all the lectures were conducted. Newly built hostels are marvellous but the only backdrop is old hostels they should be managed rest everything is good.
Almost all the faculty have their own way of teaching students. But some teachers had mastered this art of teaching. Our curriculum is good but needs some updations in some areas. Most of the profs. are friendly.
Computer Science & Electronics students have very good placements. Even other branches are good but they have to be improved. All the statistics of campus placements are available at our college placement portal webpage - placements.mnit.ac.in or simply search for mnit placement portal.
All the fee-related data is available on our college website (mnit.ac.in). Compared to reserved candidates, un-reserved candidates have to pay more.
Campus life is amazing. MNIT Jaipur is close to the major of sightseeing places in Jaipur. There are a lot hang out places in & around the campus. Night walks, Campus fests and Cycling on roads are my favourites.
Our college have all necessary infrastructure and facilities. Our college have Asia's largest Lecture theatre with well and modern technology. All the classes are having facilities of white digital smart boards, wi-fi and central AC system. The whole campus is very clean and foods we get there are very hygienic.
Being a Institute of National Importance the teachers of our Institute are very knowledgeable and have done their studies from the premier Institutes of the country. The Curriculum is based on the today's requirement in the market. The quality of teaching is well except some teachers who are lazy.
The placements of our college is quite good. If you say about the top branches like CSE and ECE the placements are awesome. Both branches are having 100% placements. The highest salary package lies between 35-45 LPA. The average salary is about 8-9 LPA if you consider for whole Institute including lower branches.
The tution fee of the Institute is 62,500 per semester. Since the Institute is government college thus I feel the fees shouldn't be that much high. Otherwise it is cheaper than various private institutes. However our college also provides fee waiver according to your income basis. Also tution fee is free for SC/ST students.
I think campus life of our college is one of the best among all the Institutes in India. Our college is located in the center of the city. Airport and railway stations are in 5km circle radius. WTP (one of the largest malls in India) is just a km away from our campus. We have indoor court for badminton and table tennis. Also our college provides facility of well equipped gym. There is so much greenery in the campus which makes the place very serene.
Whatever a student require to make the college life happy and memorable, our Institute provide those things to the students. One thing I will say, if you will join MNIT you will fall in love with it and you will know why MNIT is My NIT.
My college Malaviya National Institute of Technology had all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It infact has largest lecture compkex in Asia! Campus and living space is beautiful and clean.
I am studying Materials and metallurgical engineering. The quality of teaching here is good. Our professors are all for the help of their students. Yes, the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
Students become eligible for placements from third year onwards. And the incampus placements are good and offer various opportunities. Around 85% of the students gets placed in well reputed companies.
I was personally extremely happy with the infrastructure facilities that we got at MNIT especially the sports section of all. MNIT has well built and maintained courts and grounds. But I think the basketball court can be improved a little.
I feel the curriculum is good enough to cover most of the important things but you need to read beyond on your own to excel and make yourself job-ready. Faculties are well qualified and supportive if you seek them for help and guidance.
About 80% of students from this department got placed with an average package of 6.58 LPA and highest package 12.93 LPA. But the number of core companies is 5-7, so students also get placed at non-core companies which are open to all branches like Goldman Sachs, Fractal Analytics, etc.
The best thing is the sports facilities where you are free to play and the canteens within the campus add to the fun. The only thing that disturbs me is the in-timings of the girls' hostel. There should be campus in-time, not hostel in-time.
When you really start enjoying what you got, it becomes the best thing that happened to you. Same is the MNIT campus for me. The pros outweigh the cons.
MNIT has all the necessary facilities for students. Infrastructure is very good and classrooms are very well maintained. Food available in canteens and hostel mess are very hygenic and suitable for students.
I am studying Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in MNIT , I have keen interest in this branch though it is research oriented. Teaching quality is good and I think curriculum must get updated as per some important entrance exams like GATE, etc. And I think there must be some improvement in this branch to encourage research oriented programmes.
Good Placements in MNIT especially in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering there is 100% placement in some reputed companies like Tata and Reliance etc. Average package of placement is approximate 6 to 8 lpa.
MNIT is the best college for Bachelor's Programme since it has best to best facilities in campus for students and have good Infrastructure, library and labs.
It is really good and it does provide all the necessary facilities. The hostels classrooms labs sports centres all are really hygienic and up to date with technology. All of these are well maintained and used by the students as well
I am studying Metallurgical and materials engineering. It was out of sheer interest that I chose this branch. The quality of teaching is really good. The department is up to date and the faculty are kept abreast with the recent developments
Quality of placement is also not so bad. Highest salary packages go upto 35+LPA for Computer science and Electronics and communication branches. average salary offered is aroun 7 LPA. The college is really supportive and helps in providing best placement opportunities
My course per year nearly costs me 2 Lakhs, it seems a bit much but as a matter of fact it is really worth that amount. The quality of education both theoretical as well as practical is really good and worth each penny.
campus life will be the best phase of my life. The college being in the middle of the city is a big plus point.
It has been a great experience
Yes, based on her AIR of 3424 in General and 970 in OBC category in JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch), your daughter has a good chance of getting admission in Architecture to MNIT Jaipur under the OBC category. In previous years, the closing ranks for OBC category at MNIT Jaipur for B.Arch have gone to around1500-1600, so a rank of 970 is comfortably at the lower part of that bracket. However, the final allotment will depend on yearly cutoffs, matrix of the seats and choices filled for JoSAA counseling. Check here for more information: MNIT jaipur
Choosing between NIT Jaipur (ECE) and NIT Bhopal (CSE) depends on your interest and long-term goals, but here’s a balanced view:
If you’re interested in coding, software development, or IT roles , NIT Bhopal CSE is generally better, with higher placements and more career opportunities in the tech sector. On the other hand, NIT Jaipur is a reputed institute, and ECE offers flexibility—you can explore both core electronics and IT fields. However, in terms of placement stats, salary packages, and global demand , CSE at NIT Bhopal usually has an edge. Ultimately, choose the branch that aligns better with your interest, as long-term
Hello Aspirant,
If you have a strong interest in core engineering and also an interdisciplinary inclination toward fields like automation, robotics, or control systems, then Instrumentation and Control in NIT Trichy would be a great field to choose, NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs with good faculty, research exposure and great placements record for niche branches as well.
However, if you have a stronger inclination to become more software, electronics, communication level in the tech field, ECE in NIT Nagpur or MNIT Jaipur would be better options as they provide a wider breadth to careers and also a better mass placements options.
So choose NIT Trichy (ICE) as it is a prestige institute and if you have core engineering interest and decent academics. Also, you can choose ECE (Nagpur/Jaipur) for breadth in tech roles, coding based jobs, flexibility in all sorts of career paths.
