PGPM MBA Admission Process

Almost all the renowned colleges offering PGPM MBA programmes select candidates based on the marks scored in the entrance examination.

The whole process of selection takes place in 3 stages. These include-

Stage 1: Written Test – Different nationwide competitive tests like CAT, XAT, GMAT to get a percentile or score.

Stage 2: Apply to B-schools – With the score or percentile you get in the entrance exam, you have to apply for different B-schools. After that, students have to wait for the call from the institutes. Premier B-schools like SIBM and NMIMS conduct their entrance exams. So if you want to join these colleges, you have to appear for SNAP and NMAT, respectively.

Stage 3: The selected students have to undergo further rounds, which are Group Discussions (GD), Writing Ability Test(WAT), and Personal Interviews (PI). –Students are selected based on their work experience, academics, entrance exam score, and performance in GDPI. Selection is basically done profile-wise.

It is important to remember that only a good score in the entrance examination can not guarantee a premier B-school place. You have to perform well in GDPI also. A cumulative score will be generated, and you will get admission accordingly. For PGPM MBA, work experience is not mandatory. However, it has some added advantages.

See, consider it as until everyone do not get vaccinated colleges will not be opened in a full manner. And specially the central colleges like NITs, IITs and other medical, engineering and graduation universities and colleges will open only when situation is almost over or have zero danger.

As you know some states like Bihar, Telangana are have planned to open the educational institutes from start of July, so it is not that government is not thinking about it, once the people get vaccinated and there will be no fear of third wave then colleges will be opened.

I hope this answer helps you.
