Infrastructure of our college is a good one. College provides shops for nearly all the needs of the students, from fast food to daily need ones too. Our college also provides the medical facilities 12x7.
The Academics part of the college is better than the average. For the first year students it might not be much benificial as they are taught all subjects but from 2nd year onwards main stream subjects are taught only.
Nit Hamirpur has had a good placement record over the past years. As the statistics for the last years have said the highest package reached upto 1.9 crores. The average package remains accross 12-13 Lpa.
Nit Hamirpur has a well developed infrastructure in terms of academic buildings, library, reading halls, canteens and a dispensary too. It has a big ground, sports activity centre, an open air theatre.
I am an student of Computer Scinece and Engeneering branch academics in our college is quite average. Quality of teaching is good but in first year students are taught all the subjects irrespective of their branch which needs an improvement.

The college has to have one of the best campuses in India. Situated in Himachal Pradesh it has greenery all around. Yes we have almost everything necessary for us. The classrooms and labs are well maintained too.
The teachers try their best to make you understand thing. I don't know about other branches but my branches teacher does so. Curriculum is a bit outdated but the teachers make it up for it by adding their experience with teaching.
The Placement are good too. Almost everyone who wants a job gets placed. The highest salary was offered to the students of campus science and engineering. From the stats i know the average salary offered was 10 lpa overall and around 15-16 Lpa for cse students.
My fees costs around 2.3 Lakh per year including the mess and hostel facilities. So yes i do think that return of investment is quite good.
Campus being situated in Himachal Pradesh has greenery and some breathe-viewing views all around. We have student activity centre which has gym, table tennis room etc. The location is Hamirpur and yes it is safe and yes it can handle almost all emergencies.
Yes the college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. Labs are provided with all the instruments, classrooms in new Lecture halls are well equipped with a.c. , smart monitors and projectors.
I am studying Electronics and Communication Engeneering here. Quailty of teaching is quite good, teachers are patient and listen to students and assist them in problem solving. Curriculum is not much updated as of now.

College academic are not much satisfactory and it is hard to get jobs just on the basis of this curriculum which is not also updated and no recent developments in the particular field are generally not included.
Placements are good if statistics are seen for the past few years. Students are getting placed in good companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Apple. Also begging the packages in crores last year highest package was of around 1.7 crore.
College infrastructure is nice and good department infrastructure are also very nice. Equipment are well organized and arranged . Hostel is also very nice but there are several cleanliness problem in hostels and College..

With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.
