Here is a pleasant atmosphere and the weather conditions are very good as the college is situated on mountains. The infrastructure of the college is very good and wifi is installed in every classroom and other areas also outside hostels as well as in the hostels. Hostels are very clean and hygienic, rooms are spacious and food quality is also good. Here are various committees of cultural and other events to conduct various fun activities throughout the year. There is a student health care centre for medical treatment.

Teachers here are very supportive and dedicated to their respective responsibilities. Each and every teacher here is a PhD holder from renowned institutes. The course curriculum is designed to provide the best content and industry knowledge by teaching them real-life applications of what they have learnt. Semester assessments are moderate, and if you are sincere a little bit, then you can easily crack a good CGPA.

A total 108 students were placed out of 125 students enrolled last year, i.e., 2023. The highest package is 18 lakhs per year, and 8 lakhs is the average package. Top companies are Orient, Havells, etc. The top role offered in my course is as assistant engineer as a fresher.

National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is very good infrastructure wise . All the facilities they have . Hostels are good, with good infrastructure and facilities. Departments have good labs, classrooms, etc. with a clean environment. Canteens are available until the hostel's arrival on campus

Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable and available most of the time. They are well qualified. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is relevant to the industry and deals with real-time problems. Semester exams are at a moderate level and the passing percentage is 100%.

Placements in National Institute of Technology Hamirpur Batch of 2017 M.Tech Environmental Engineering was decent. There are a total of 60 students enrolled in the environment engineering course in the year 2017. 90% were placed.

Hostel in the institute are extremely good. The boys hostel names are given on the basis of the various mountain ranges of Himalayas .free Wi-Fi service 24*7. Infrastructure in our Institute is very good and maintenance is good and classrooms are spacious.

Being a government institute the faculty here is qualified and sufficient faculty members are there with experience. there are some guest faculty who are there for a temporary period. experienced faculty have a great way of teaching here.

The training and placement cell at our institute executed the whole placement process in a systematic process. The prominent recruiters who took part in our campus recruitment function were such as Info Edge India, Accenture ,BYJUs, HSBC, Infosys, Doubtful, Amazon, Invenio Business solution, Cape Gemini Pvt ltd., etc.

College have very large land but it can't use as whole very few land have used and many problems with their infrastructure like water problem is also their but it is beautiful and small campus in huge land

Academic syllabus is good but faculty is not good and also no diversity is their and also professor also not their who teach properly and every student study online because quality of study in class in not good

Placement not good at nit hamirpur in 2024 because due to evolution of AI and also reduce job in IT sector but core or marketing jobs are their and you also suffer for good placement reality of placement is that in 2024 6lpa is decent amount pay by company only

You got average placement in nit hamirpur not got highest placement due to reduce the job and also some problem about in academic lack and also many professor are not good academic also toug for student

Campus life is average and many fest like hillfare and nimbus is present for your entertainment and also not coming many celebrity and avg campus life is their also average fest also held in NIT hamirpur

the infrastructure of college is quite good well enough maintained and covered by greenery the infrastructure includes all basic facilities and equipments required for a college these includes like wifi in class and hostels well maintained laborateries projector and wifi facility in the classes and good well enough sports facilities like for cricket badminton football volleyball basketball etc sports and the college campus is too green and clean

the academics are sometimes become boring the laborateries part is intresting but some times the classes looks boring the quality of teaching is good enough as most of the teachers are studied p.hd in their respective fields from reknown institutes like iits and nits the curriculum gets regularly updated in 3 to 4 years and the college itself make people job ready.

the placements of nit hamirpur i too good infact it is the one of the most plus point of this college about 70 to 80 percent of students gets placed in campus and off campus placements the highest salary package of 2023 wa 1.73 cr with average package 14 lpa for cse and 8 lpa as average for mechanical the placement process is quite average in level of hardness but college staff is very supportive regarding placements of students.

the cost for general candidate whose family income is greater then 8 lakh per annum those have to pay about 76700 per semester for academics and about 60200 per year as hostel and mess fees and for obc gen ews students its about 33000 and for sc and st its about 13000 and also the college is worth of money weather of any caste

the campus life one of the best generally there are two fest in nit hamirpur on is cultural named hillffair which is one of best moment for any student and other is tech fest named nimbus also as college is covered by some hilly areas so it generally leads to a beautiful weather and sceneries and also the students and and support staff is very cooperative and the location of college is about 80km from una railway station and its completely safe place.

It's a beautiful place with all the necessary infrastructure, we have a sports complex, a sports ground, OAT, hall, library, and student's park, it has buildings allocated to each department, all of them well equipped with the relevant stuff and is regularly maintained.

I studied B.tech in computer science and engineering, it was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the faculty there is top-notch, They teach us about the latest technology in the market and by the end of your course, you are well-versed in all the necessary subjects.

The placement was decent, even during this recession, 85% of the students were placed, with decent packages, and the average salary was 13LPA, with almost 20 students getting more than 50LPA. I think it was a good ROI for any student.

For each semester it is 90 thousand and 30 thousand for the hostel. It is worth the money for the quality of life you get there. It is wonderful and just walking around is so much fun, there is greenery everywhere.

It's almost surreal, the trees are so tall and everything looks straight out of a Bob Ross painting. The mountains are so beautiful. It is completely safe for everyone, and it is well-equipped with everything and is ready for any emergencies.

My college have all the necessary facilities and equipments that are required to a student..A library is also their that is well maintained and free wifi system is also available to the students... Proper cleaning ness is also maintained in classroom, hostels and groud .. And hostel food is very hygiene...

I am pursuing my btech in electrical engineering....In this branch teachers are well qualified but they are old so they teach in their old method which is not oriented to the placement...they do not know new technologies....Which affect in our skills and studies..

College overall placement percentage is good around 84.60%... But placement percent of my branch is not that good it is around 90% as the placement percentage of CS branch is 96% that is very good .... college does not play as much important role in placement its totally depends on you and your skills ....

This college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment that are required to a student....All classroom are highly maintained and projector are also their..In hostels, classroom and laboratories hygiene is highly maintained... And library is also their with free internet....

My department is B.arch because I have interest in designing, making 3D models ,etc.. The faculties of this department are highly qualified and their teaching skills are also good ...And their study is also jod oriented...But the curriculum is old and now recently they are developing in new education system....

Over placement Percentage is quite good 84.60%.... But in my branch architecture placement Percentage is not very high it is quite low 60% ... The highest placement Percentage is of Computer science branch around 96 percent ... Placement process is also easy for the students those have skills ...Our college is also supportive ,as here come technical companies,core competencies etc. all students have equal chance to show their talent ...

College infrastructure is very good ..it has all the facilities that are required to a student... A big library is also their with heaters , air conditioners and with good availability of free internet ...

I am doing btech in material science branch .. I am in first year so I don't know much about my department faculty because in 1 year all students have same subject so teachers are same.. but I listen from my senior that this branch is new and facilities also not have much experience... So they are not good enough... And their study is also not placement oriented.. So student have to work himself for placement..

The quality of placement in this college is good ... The placement percentage is 84.60% that is good ...And highest placement percentage is of computer science branch....And average placement percentage is different for each branch ... placement process is easy for cs , ece etc students but for lower branches it is not that easy their subject are different from the skills required for placement....

NIT Hamirpur is one of the best institutions in India situated in lush geen forests . .Excellent college in the view of both infrastructure and education. Labs and classrooms are well maintained .Hostels are clean and food is hygienic.

I am studying different subjects of engineering. Teachers of my institution are cooperative and very helpful. Yes our curriculum is updated because it follows (NEP) new education policy.Yes the study makes a job ready for me.
