Yes, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra has all the necessary facilities and equipments. We had a samsung smart board and white board in the classroom. We had a huge library with a citing capacity of nearly 800 students at a time . There are ample number of books available in the library, if your subject related book is not available then it will be made available with some simple procedures. We had a huge sports ground but Lawn Tennis Court is below average. All campus is neat&clean.
I am currently pursuing my B.tech in Electrical Engineering. I choosed electrical because I want to go in government sector. Quality of teaching here is above average as some of the faculties are very great and some of them even not interested to teaching . Our curriculum is not completely up-to-date . NIT Kurukshetra had just collaborate with Siemens and open a Workshop at Campus where students get internship there and also a great exposure of industrial work. Yes, studying here makes job ready
Placements here at Nit, Kurukshetra in Computer Science and IT branch are very Fabulous. IN These two branches nearly all the students gets placed. Electronics and communications is also a good branch in terms of Placements. Overall placement rate is nearly 50 percent combining all the branches. Highest placement was of 40 LPA in IT branch. Average package was of 7lakh in 2020. Placement process is very supportive and pleasant.
As I am from a family which had a annual income between 1 to 5 lakh. So costs me around 70k to 75k per year excluding hostel mess bill. Yes , for this amount of money it will definitely worth it because this college is giving every facility which is needed for growth from a Student to a Professional Being. We had many fest also not that great but one can enjoy a lot if he/she wants. Student will get a lot exposure as many workshops are also organised in our institute.
It's a lush green campus ?. It gave a fantastic view in monsoons. One would only experience it. It's best feature is its beaty and lovely seniors. Seniors here are very supportive. Worst feature is the addiction towards alcohol and drugs like cheap thrillers which is a major problem of almost all colleges in India. Student to teachers ratio here is very good. Almost all teachers are very supportive except few. It is located in Thanesar not in main city Kurukshetra. Yes, it is very safe place .
It's totally depends on an individual that he/she takes that place . If one had a inbuilt nature of joy he/she definitely had Golden years of his/her life spending here. Dance club at Nit Kurukshetra (SUC) is one of the topmost crew of North India. One will had a great learning and experience after joining SUC. Basketball team of Nit Kurukshetra also had a lot of fantastic players.
Our college has a basic infrastructure. We have sufficient resources for the degree (no luxury). We have SmartBoards now but the teachers don't know how to use them yet. Our labs are well equipped. We have a running track, 3 basketball courts, 2 badminton courts, an open field, and a gym. Some of them are maintained while some aren't.
The quality of teaching isn't amazing. The teachers are quite casual and biased. I mean, it is the same for almost all Indian colleges but still. Students cover the syllabus by themselves and the syllabus is rushed towards the end.
Placements, on the other hand, are very decent, along with internships. CS/IT get an average package of 12 LPA. They have 100% Placement stats. Other branches are pretty decent too. We are ranked in the top 10 NITs in India.
My course costs around 80K/Semester. Considering the facilities, hostel quality, and everything, I wouldn't say it is completely worth it. There's a lot of money they have that could be spent on infrastructure to make the college more aesthetic.
Campus life was great only because of the friends I had. We had BMS(a lake) nearby where we could walk every weekend. It is a village so we didn't expect much from the start. But overall, it was good hanging around with people until this pandemic pitched in.
It is a good college for the people around Kurukshetra. Discarding the hostels, the lecture rooms were excellent. The placement is decent. Day scholars are making the maximum of it.
The campus was quite clean and hygienic. We had WiFi in Hostels and a separate computer centre for students who doesn't have laptops they can study there. It was like a second home to me. The facilities were great.
Teachers were great and qualified . I studied Computer Science there. Overall it was good but from research point of view I think the college is still lagging. There should be some research work also in all streams in college. Otherwise the academically it was a great place to be there.
Being from NIT or IIT , you won't be having much problem in placements . For CS and IT , almost all top IIT's and NIT's have 100% placements. Every student get placed in a very good company with a handsome salary and other perks. Even in the covid time being from NIT helped me a lot .
The fee depends upon different factors like category, economic condition of your family etc. But I would say these government colleges have very less fee as compared to private colleges providing the same degree. And to be very honest it was worth every penny.
Campus life was amazing. We had cafeteria , market , ground and OAT(open Air Theatre) as our best places to hangout with our friends. We had a gym too . We had a medical center on the campus for any emergency and an ambulance and a tight security. The campus was very safe no ragging at all. Seniors were quite supportive.
I just love the campus. Would love to go there again.
Ya,my college have good infrastructure and all facilities. We have smart boards,AC's and well maintained benches in our college and all the staff in hostel too are understanding and helpful. Hostels are well maintained and regularly taken care of.
I am studying Mechanical Engineering. It's an national level institute and stidents gets admission by cracking JEE Mains. Academics is very nice. All the professors are very nice and teaches nicely and makes sure that we understands.
Placements are good enough. If someone studies enough understood his course then he/she could get their dream job. It's all depends on the students, college is fighting tough from their side.We can't ignore that.
Ya, I think it's really value of money.
Amazing campus life.
It's amazing.
Nice, calm environment, building are old but it is developing/paint, whenever some minister will come. Other co-curricular activities are also good , helps to be college life perfect if you take part .
Highly undedicated teachers, they teach you , but not helps to make project. Few are dedicated. I individually think so that together so much theory , there must be 4-5 advance project per sem. Hope so it will happen in future.
Still studying, hope so it will lead to better. College will confuse which passion to follow , you have to decide in which career you have shape your future. But college has strong contacts in placement
Decide after placement
Nice, but covid destroys it
Yes, my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and quipment . Classroom has ac , fan and proper lights also . College have really big library also. Hostels have wifi and big common also.room
I am studying cse in this college because I have Interest in this field. The quality of teaching is good. Yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments. But I will suggest don't overdependent on the teachers and all, be independent and do self study.
Yes the is quality of placementsnts is good. Around 85% Of students were placed approximately every year. The highest salary package is in case course. The average salary of a car student is a round 60000 approx.
Around 1.5 lakhs is the cost for a general category student in this college. I think it is quite costly, but when you get a job in your last year with a good package of salary , all the things get worth it.
The students , teachers and support staff are really good, location is also good , the famous brahmsarovar temple is only 1.5 km from the campus. Yes the area is quite safe. Yes it can handle emergencies.
Yes , college has hostels also and they have good proper cleaning also. But girls hostels have their inning timings and they have to come hostel within time in the evening. But boys have good news they don't have any inning timings.
Good infrastructure of college and it provides various facilities like in sports and in academics. Overall all the performance are good . And have big sports complex which will help to all the student to be a healthy and have various courts of badminton , kabbadi and lawn tennis
Very good in academics and have also different different lab which help the student to get more in practical knowledge and all the teacher uses the white board which is also good and uses the projector also
Various good company's like products based came and it allows all the branch to give their exam and offers the various placement offers and also provide the internship and in cs and it all hundred percent student get placed and avg salary provide by the company in between 10 to 12 lakh per annum
The course cost per year is about 1.2 lakh and also provide the scholarship for the ews and obc and sc and st students and its very much worth as we can get all facilities which we should want and also the teacher do their best for students
Campus life was very good and there are several best features about campus that we can get all we want as in campus the bank , the canteens of various types and also shops are available which really helped and all teacher and staff were very good and its safe and also one hospital is there for the student by this if any emergency happened we call them within 2 to 3 minutes came the ambulance.
Yes my college has almost all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment but it has 3 building and one of the building is still under construction . We have Library , big playground , seminar hall , computer lab as well as science lab. Canteen food is really good with affordable price.
I'm second year student of btech cs. Faculty are really good and they are really Hard working . Teachers are solving our queries on daily basis , some teachers are taking extra classes as we are students of maths hons so we have lots of doubts . So maths department is one the best department
I don't have much experience about college placement but our college placement cell is very active .Many reputed companies are come every year to give chance to students. Highest package is 5-6 LPA and Lowest is 2-3 LPA.
My course fee is 1.4l per year and it is completely affordable . I'm also satisfied with my college free structure because they provide us all the facilities . So it is totally worth it.
College campus is really awesome with full of trees and beautiful flowers. The college campus is equipped with wifi. We have many societies like E cell , zero debating , sigma where you get engage and strengthen your talent. My college location is perfect and amazing it is in kurukshetra. It's nearby other 3-4 Colleges .

I am Studying Computer Engineering in NIT Kurukshetra .The qualities of teaching is Good. Professors Are Good and helpful .Yes the Developments In the field of education are Increasing day bya day.Yes
The Qualities of Placements are quite Good as like other reputated Colleges .Many Big brands like Amazon ,Flipcart etc Come Every year. The percentage of students Depends upon Branche Wise. Placement Process is Good and the college is supportive.
For a Year it is near about 1,50,000 + mess charges .
Campus Is Good and Greenery is present everywhere. Campus Is pretty good. Various Activities are there in which students can engaged Like Various Sports,Events etc Yes it is Safe.
Yes The Experience is good till now .
The college has a beautiful infrastructure with advanced facilities and well managed Equipment. Classrooms and laboratories , and library are very well maintained. Libraries and hostels are wi-fi enabled . Living Spaces are very well cleaned and food is also good.
I am pursuing Btech from Mechanical and According to me I think the name of the college gives all the valid reason for the best academics. All the curriculum is well updated and includes all the developments in the field. Studying here is not only making me job ready but also is enhancing my skills in every aspect of life.
The college placements are so well warming and According to me there are very few or no reason that one can give for not opting this college. The placements are about 99% with an average package of about 10 LPA. The placement process was quite moderate .
Yes, for sure it is value for money. Being a government college, there is no doubt that this can be the best and perfect option. I think one can't keep it as an option, It should be the priority
Campus life is also good. The college focuses on self study and not forcing the student. Here one can really feel and decide the right path and bright future ahead
With obc ncl rank of 39761 and a percentile of 91.8, admission to nit kurukshetra production and industrial engineering branch under the home state quota might be challenging. Based on previous year's trend The OBC closing rank for this branch tend to fall significantly below 20,000. Though, cut offs vary each year depending on the number of applicants, seat availability and difficulty level of the exam it's advisable to participate in the JoSAA counselling rounds and also keep options open for lower nits or other branches which are with higher closing ranks.

Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for SC category candidates varies depending on the branch and quota (Home State or Other State). However, based on the previous year's trends, you can expect a cutoff in the range of 300-500 marks for SC female candidates from Haryana to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra.
It's important to note that the actual cutoff may vary depending on several factors, including the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available.
Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of securing a seat in your desired branch.
I hope this information helps.
