Goa Institute of Management Admission Criteria is a minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree and the candidate must have taken or appeared for any one of the following entrance tests: XAT, CAT, GMAT Focus Edition, CMAT. For a PGDM in Big Data Analytics, the candidate also has to go through a GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT). For admission to the PGDM-Part time course, the candidate must have a minimum 50% aggregate in the 3 year bachelor’s degree and apart from the above mentioned entrance tests, a MAT test would also be accepted. A 3 year work experience is also required for the part-time PGDM course as well as an interview round. Goa Institute of Management Admission for a FPM programme requires a Master’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent GPA and 60% marks in the higher secondary schooling or equivalent as well. Candidates for FPM also have to submit a Statement of Purpose along with a brief Research Proposal while submitting the application form. Goa Institute of Management Admission for FPM also requires a submission of two letters of recommendation.
The institute offers many courses to students. Goa Institute Management offers total of 6 courses at the PG and doctoral levels. GIM Goa courses are available in the full-time and part-time study modes. The streams in which the institute offers courses are management and business administration , computer application and IT and commerce. Goa Institute of Management courses at the PG level are P.G.D.M , P.G.D.M Part-Time, P.G.D.M (Big Data Analytics, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance and Healthcare Management). At the doctoral level, the institute offers one course - Fellowship Programme in Management the duration of which is 2 years.
Goa Institute of Management’s Goa campus course fees for the Postgraduate level courses ranges from Rs. 4.44 lakhs to Rs. 15.98 lakhs.
Goa Institute of Management offers two scholarships: GIM- ACCESS scholarship and GIM- MBBS Scholarship (GMS). The ACCESS award is given to students who excel in the selection process of the Institute and demonstrate the capabilities of sincere students. GIM offers forty scholarships under this, with each scholarship amounting to four lakh rupees. The GIM-MBBS Scholarship is offered to candidates holding a MBBS degree who are admitted to PGDM in Healthcare Management. Under this, GIM offers 5 scholarships, each amounting to four lakh rupees.
