IMT Recognition and Approvals
IMT Hyderabad has been accredited with a number of National and International Accreditation bodies. These certifications are very important while considering taking admission in IMT. Some of these accreditations are:

IMT Admission Process and Criteria
The process of taking admission in IMT involves an online application as a first step. The eligibility criteria for an applicant is scoring an average of 50% of scores in the bachelor’s degree along with the scores obtained by the applicant in the entrance exams. Entrance exams accepted for the PGDM courses during IMT admissions include CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT. Whereas, for taking admission in the Fellowship Program, the entrance exams accepted are CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE and UGC-NET. The FPM also requires a 5,000 words research proposal and a SOP.
IMT Courses
IMT offers only postgraduate courses which include a PGDM course along with a PGDM in Marketing and PGDM in Finance. The institute also offers a Doctoral level course – Fellowship Program in Management the duration for which is 4 years on an average. IMT also offers an Executive PGDM program for working professionals which is a weekend course for 18 months.
IMT Fees Structure
Fees for the IMT Hyderabad for it’s postgraduate courses ranges from Rs. 4 lakh to Rs. 12 lakh. The Fees Structure also includes the Fees for the hostel accommodation and mess charges.
IMT Scholarships
IMT offers two types of scholarships, one is an Entry Level Scholarship and the other is the Mid-Program Scholarship. The Entry-Level Scholarships include a scholarship for 5 students from the EWS strata with a 100% academic fee waiver. Another entry-level scholarship is the Smt. Leela Nath Women scholarship wherein women candidates get 5% waiver of the total academic fees for the 2 year PGDM programmes. Last entry-level scholarship is the Merit Scholarships for 90+ test percentile category; candidates with 90-95.99 percentile in CAT or XAT or between 650-700 absolute scores in GMAT will get a 40% fee waiver. Candidates with 96-100 percentile in CAT or XAT or between 700-800 absolute scores in GMAT receive a 60% waiver. IMT also offers a Shri Mahendra Nath Memorial Scholarship for second year students with a scholarship amount of 1 lakh INR based on merit cum needs.
IMT Location
IMT Hyderabad campus is located 15 minutes away from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Spread across a total of 30 acres of land, the campus offers a lot of facilities in campus which become a major criteria for taking admission into IMT.
IMT Facilities
There are 15 futuristic classrooms that are built keeping in mind the modern architecture and technology and having fully audio-visual interactive technology. The IMT campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. There is a Gym on campus and a recreation centre which is located not too far away from the hostels. The sports complex of IMT Hyderabad has a Cricket ground, a Football ground, a Basketball court, Tennis court and a Badminton court.
