What is the average placement of SRM?
SRM University Chennai is a place of opportunities and placements are a major part of it. Around 450 companies visited the SRM University for placements last year (2020-21 session) covering all departments. Record number of 4751 Offers on a single day made by TCS, Cognizant, Infosys & Wipro for 2020 Batch. As on 24th Jan 2020, 7926 Offers were made for the students in the 2020 batch. The Highest Package of 41.6 Lpa was given by Microsoft. The institute also provides excellent opportunities for female students with companies like Shell India, Saint Gobain, Schneider Electric,IBM,Capgemini and many other companies conducting exclusive recruitment drives for female students. SRM Institute of Science and Technology is also a nodal centre for all the three services of Indian Armed Forces.
Before appearing for SRM University Placement, training is given to all the aspirants in both aptitude and core subjects to help students face the companies’ interviews. Many pre-placement activities are conducted by placement cell to make students job-ready. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Siemens, Hyundai Motors, Fuji Xerox (Japan), Bank of America, Honda, SAP Labs, Michelin, CISCO, Shell India and Vestas to name a few, have done recruitments in SRM.
