NIT Delhi Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

The infrastructure of the college is quite good. A new auditorium is being built and will be in working condition soon. The new academic building is also quite good. New hostels being built. There is a medical unit. Classrooms have Wi-Fi and are very clean.

Faculty of the college are good as they are PhD holder in their area from top institutes along with foreign university degrees which make them remarkable in their field. Curriculum is upto date and contains many labs for making students ready industrial purposes.

avg package of 8 lac per annum while computer science have avg package of 10 lac per annum. Our college do provide research internship but no stipend. Most of the students go for industrial training and internships in various iits.

the fee structure depends upon the family income of student. Family income more than 5lakh has to pay a much big amount while those in range of 5 lakh to 1.5 lakh has to pay some percentage. Income less than 1.5 get free education. But the money is worth the education

sports facilities are good too and provide all the sports equipment. We have all necessary clubs for all extracurricular activities. Many tech fest take place.

Saptrang is cultural fest, terra technica is technical fest and zeal.is intrabranch sports fest. Along with thesr we have hostel night,halloween etc.

Yes college provide all the necessary but some things are not in the college and talking about infrastructure, facility and equipment all have but sometimes wifi don't works and less space for library and they are all well maintained also mess food is good and enough living space.

I m pursuing btech in electrical and electronics branch from national institute of technology delhi i have some preknowledge about electrical like motors, transformer so i did choose this branch i think curriculum is updated and some teachers have good experience and knowledge

I think placement cell doing well i think most of the student are placed and this year highest package is 19 lakh and last two year highest package was 30 lakh and average salary is 7-8 lakh yes college supports for placement and i think if u have some knowledge then u can easily get the job.

Regarding about course cost per yead so its depend on annual income if income is below 1 lakh then course fees is 12000 and income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then course fees is something 33000 and income above 5 lakh then course fees is 7200 yes money worth

Infrastructure is not good as due to small in size we cannot have well equipped labs and workshops thus we do to DTU for workshops. Small library thus we have insufficient quantity of books. Playground is good for volleyball kabbadi etc but not for cricket and football as they require big grounds. Whole campus is well maintained as it is very neat and clean. Also the classrooms and labs have ACs WiFi and projectors. We have 2 boys hostel and 1 girl hostel due to less number of girls students.

Every faculties of the college is PhD qualified this have depth knowledge in his field. I am currently in electrical department which has good faculties who helps lot in our studies and project works. Our course curriculum is somewhat outdated thus it needs updation to meet current industrial demands so that we can match the industrial norms easily.

We have very few companies from core sector. Only L&T and TATA Power comes from the core sector as I know. Even if the students of our branch have good coding skills,they are made ineligible for placements in coding companies due to prioritise to CSE department. But inspite of all these, highest package of college grabbed by student of our department previous year in Microsoft bagging 39 LPA . About 80 % of college students got placed in different profile with average package of 6 LPA.

I pay around 1.6 lacs per annum including hostels fee because of income category above 5 LPA . Also I pay around 3 k per month as mess fee whose food quality is average. For such fees , any private college cannot provide such kind of academics and facilities thus every penny of my money worths.

Though space bears a dark chapter , we adjust and work in way so that it hinders less. Thus we have one sport fest and one cultural fest name saptrang every year in which we learn leadership and coordinating skills ,also we enjoy a lot in these. Seniors and teachers are very supportive and friendly in nature, especially staffs of the college helps in day to at conduct . It is located near Narela Market we didn't have to bother for daily essentials stuffs. it has a government hospital at 200m.

We have all the necessary facility and equipment almost no for Clean washroom for both boys and girls available and also in also they are drinking water is available the environment of the college is really good the classroom maintain the sitting is good they are a very big library which is full of books and levels are good and updated

The teachers are well experienced and supportive the circulum is updated in the quality stitching standard I am the teachers are well experienced and supportive the circulum is updated the the updated circulum is used to prepare you for job

The placement of the college is improving every year the placement sincere of ECE department is too good than the other department every year almost 6575 students are got placed from this college every year many Vinod companies come to our college our college arrange two sim and workshop before the placement

Mycourse cost around 64000 per your because there are 2 semester 3 year both of the cost around 40 mm in the case of teaching which college is great

The campus live this college is very good and programmer college every month

Nit Delhi has playground which can organise volleyball badminton basketball kabaddi but cannot football and cricket due to its small size and small campus. Whole campus is neat & clean and very well maintained. We have a small library thus numbers of books is always a issue. Whole campus and hostel is connected with high speed WiFi. Labs and classrooms have ACs and projectors. But labs lacks in some advanced equipment.

All the faculties here have PhD degree from reputated institute thus they have knowledge in great depth in their respective fields. Our course curriculum has some of the latest technologies like neural networks etc but it needs some updation. We with the help of faculties work on projects to get practical insights and enhance our practical knowledge so to get prepared for industries.

About 80 % of students got placed with average salary of 6 LPA. About 7-8 students of our department left for the placement now. We have recruiters like delloite Amazon L&T Samsung etc. Highest salary of NITD is 39LPA offered by Microsoft previous year. Placement process is some sort of easy as the coordinator are very supportive.

Campus life is average as it has some bad aspects such as space always been a issue while having any sports events or fests but inspite of all these we have one cultural fest and one sport fest every year in which we work hard to make the event success. Seniors and faculties are very cooperative in day to day conduct and also staff members need apprasel for this .

Nit Delhi is a college of national importance and is 4th best engineering college in Delhi. the area of the campus is small but it is well maintained and it is tried to maintain every corner of the campus .We get a very good high speed internet facility and the class rooms are also newly built and equipped with projector and all other equipment . though we have got a small library but we try to utilize maximum of that.

I am currently in 1st year my branch is CSE so all branches share a common subject in all the branches . Most of the faculty members are very supportive . The curriculum is not updated which is the problem in the most of the engineering colleges of the India.

We have an average package of around 6 to 7 lakhs and this average is little higher for CSE students . Some major gaints that visit our campus for placements are Amazon ,L &T, samsung , delloite etc. Highest package of last year from our college was 39 lakhs per annum which was offered by Microsoft

I pay around 2 lakh rupees per year which includes tuition fees hostel fees and all other fees . There are different fees for different income slabs as students whose parental income is less than 1 lakh they have to only pay the fees of hostel and mess. I am quite satisfied with this fees as it gives me NIT tag and many opportunities

Though our college campus area is small but it is very beautiful .We have two to three fests every year and many other extra circular activities going throughout the year . The staff is very supportive and there are many guards which are there to assist in every possible way they could

Classrooms and labs are equipped with ACs and projector. Labs lacks of certain advance equipment necessary to get depth knowledge. We have a small library thus there is always a race between students to grab books due to less number of books. Small grounds thus cant organise football and cricket but other sports well equipped.

I am currently in ECE branch. Our department has lot of well qualified faculties. They all are PhD qualified from reputated institute thus have a good knowledge in their fields and also goes deeper to help the students so that we can understand better. Though course curriculum is not updated as to meet current industrial demands but we work hard on various projects to get practical knowledge and become industrial ready.

Quality of placement is average as average package stands around 6 LPA which is less for such reputated institute with central location. We have various recruiters like delloite,L&T, Amazon etc . Though we have a shared campus and space is a issue for various academics and extra curriculum activities, we have developed a culture here so that no students think much about it and contribute with full enthusiasm. We have 2-3 fests every year and various other events. Seniors and faculties are very supportive along with non teaching staffs. We have a government hospital nearby it thus students didn't have to bother about health issues. Also there is a market near it to get daily essentials.

Campus is covered with natural beauties. It has well maintained gardens. Labs and classrooms are equipped with WiFi,ACs and projectors. Lab is not equipped with various new instruments. Hostel and campus is well equipped with high speed WiFi. The whole campus is very neat and clean and the mess food is average.

I am studying electronics and communication here. All the faculties are well qualified and have in depth knowledge in their respective fields. Our course needs some updation so as to meet new technologies as it is a prominent institute but inspite of all these we work hard for our projects in which faculties helps a lot . These projects gives us practical insights which makes us industry ready.

Placements are average for BTech students and poor for Mtech students. About 4-5 students of Mtech of ECE department got the placements. We have various recruiters like delloite, Amazon L&T offering average package of around 8 LPA. we have none or few recruiters from core branches. Previous year one student from EEE got package of 39 LPA from Microsoft which is highest till now.

I pay around 1 lacs per annum which is less than offered by any private institute offering such facilities and NIT tag where a good culture is present. With such facilities and culture, every penny of my money worths if placement kept apart.

Campus has beautiful well maintained places decorated with varieties of plants. Small campus always creates problems during sports events,fests and also during workshops. But inspite of all these we have 2 fests every year and other events in which we have good interactions. Seniors and faculties members are very helpful in academic and day to day concern. Small campus thus we don't have well equipped labs and workshops which is must in BTech. The space also creates issues in various sports activities as we don't have sufficient space for football and cricket. But we have space for volleyball, kabbadi etc. All the classrooms are well equipped with ACs & projectors. We have small library thus always have insufficient number of books. All the campus is neat and clean and also well maintained.

All the professors are PhD qualified from reputated institutes. They are experts in their subjects and fields thus give us practical insights in them. They also helps us in our project works . Our course curriculum needs to be updated so that we can get insights of new technologies thus meet current industrial demands.

For electrical branch few companies visit. We have TATA Power and L&T as our core branch recruiters. Also many EEE students not shortlisted for placement drive of coding related companies inspite of having good skills. But 50-60 % of EEE students got placed with average package of 6LPA .

I pay around 40 k per annum for college and hostels fees and mess is charged extra. If placement kept aside , none of the private college can offer such things in such low cost with NIT tag thus every penny of my money worth.

Inspite of lack of space we have 2 fests every year along with freshers and fairwell in which all students enjoy a lot. Seniors and faculties are very helpful in academic related issues and also sometimes in day to day conduct. The college is located near Narela market inspite of being far from new Delhi. It also has one govt hospital in nearby so that students didn't have to bother for health related issues.

We have shared part of campus of other institute thus lack of space is a issue. All classrooms and labs are equipped with ACs projectors and high speed wifi. All the campus area is neat and clean and well decorated with nature. Our department have 3 labs thus cannot be equipped for a particular work , also most of the instruments doesn't work effectively. Whose campus and hostel is equipped with wifi. We have 2 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls.

All the faculties have phd degrees from renowned institute thus many of them have good command over their specializations and thus they help us deeply for their respective fields. Our course curriculum is not updated thus it needs to be updated so that we match current industrial demands.

About 90% of students got placed with average package of 4.5 LPA . Maximum package of 39LPA grabed by EEE student from microsoft previous year. We have various recruiters like amazon,oyo,flipkart,dailyhunt,delloite ,L&T ,TATA power etc. College didn't show much interest in increasing average package of the college and always blames students for not having so.

I pay around 40k including hostels and 3k per month for mess whose food is of average quality. Paying such a less fee for such experiences with an nit tag makes every penny of money worth for it as any private college cannot offer all this even paying double or triple.

Though we have a small campus which always makes problems during sports events and fests but inspite of all these we have 2 fests and various other events in which we enjoy a lot. Seniors and faculties are very helpful and guide us in various issues. Its location is decent as located near market so that we get all desired stuffs. It is also located near one of biggest government hospital thus we didn't have much problems durind health issues or cannot be during emergencies.
